Stayed here after attending a holiday party hosted in the ballroom. Great location, right across the street from the beach. They had a small store with concessions located in the main lobby that was available 24 hours. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice selection of channels on the TV including HBO and on-demand movie rentals. Would definitely recommend.

3-star hotel is accurate; however, the coastal location is even better. The room was clean, spacious. The courtyard is nice with an outdoor fireplace and seating. The long interior hallways make you feel like a hamster at times; but the location to some great local surf spots and the Outlet stores among other things makes this a great place for the money.

Great location for this Hilton Garden as you can walk across the street to the beach. I had beautiful ocean views of the sunset from my room (not that I stayed inside). There's a large pool and nice outdoor space. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable if rather simple. Mine had a microwave and fridge. The one downside is the $14 daily charge for parking.

Kenny! Kenny! Kenny! I cannot say enough about this fine young man. He made our stay ideal. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and he had wine and cheese sent to our room. He upgraded our room because my husband is a rewards member. He thanked us for choosing Hilton. He recommended a restaurant for us and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer. What a guy! We had a partial view of the ocean, and it was lovely. The hotel is located across the street from the ocean, and if you cross the street on the crosswalk and then go to the left, you'll see an entrance to the local public beach. Well worth the walk. We had the breakfast buffet and it was great. We plan on going back, with the kids, next time. The room was clean, shower great, and everything worked well. Thanks again, Kenny!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Our room was a single king room with a partial ocean view. The view overlooked the pool courtyard and out to the ocean. The front desk staff was awesome. Although the hotel does not have a free breakfast included, the breakfast buffet with all the fresh fruit and made to order omelettes, pancakes, and waffles was reasonably priced.
There is a small beach right across the road. You can brave climbing down the small bluff, walk a few minutes south, or drive a minute to the easier beach access.response / report this review -

It's nice that the beach is only a 0.5 mile walk down the street, and you rent beach towels, chairs and an umbrella for $10/day. And the breakfast was pretty good, with friendly service. Front desk personal is also very friendly. Our biggest issue with the room is the lack of attention to detail in cleaning the room. Our shower tub (pictures attached) and the large chair were both dirty.

This place is dirty. The shower was dirty. The chair in the corner of the room was gross, covered in crumbs and stains, felt sticky. I really needed it to nurse my daughter but ended up using a bunch of their flat pillows to prop myself up on the bed. The floor is super sticky, needed to wear my sandals at all times. Called and asked for a crib to be in the room twice before we got there, it wasn't. When we got it, it looked like a rickety metal cage, so we did not use it. The full ocean view said it had a balcony, it did not. The only reason it gets two stars is because it's close to the beach and the breakfast was good though the staff didn't see very happy or attentive. Not that the color of the walls matter but they are an sad peach, pink, grayish color, makes the room seem extra dirty. We could have stayed at La Quinta or something along those lines for half the price and it would have been equally as clean or cleaner. Or paid a little more and stayed at Best Western.

Chef Ricardo Vargas was really nice. He approached us with smile and find us table for breakfast for me anf my family. I really appreciate that. Really good service. The rest of the staff was very helpful.

Best AC ever. Friendly staff. What a fantastic beach for surfing or swimming. Long, slow break. Kids can play fairly safely. Plenty of parking. People should shower before using the pool. I like Hilton. They think outside the box.

Loved it here. Walked to the beach, though that walk was a decent way down the road Maybe a half mile. Patio seating in nice weather was great, bar had a couple good California brews. Would definitely come here again.

Hotel is situated just outside of the village and has amazing views overlooking the coast. Hotel feels welcoming and warm. However rooms feel a bit dated and water pressure in shower is poor. Food is great and highly recommend.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. A little out of the way. Not too many restaurants within walking distance, so a car (or Uber) is needed. Very close to sea side.

The room was nice and so was the staff. We had a great view. The air conditioner fan was noisy, and the kitchen exhaust was below our balcony, so we knew when the kitchen was cooking and what was being cooked.

Nice room with great ocean view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Used the heated pool and hot tub, which were both well maintained and in a pleasant courtyard. We enjoyed our stay!

I didn't stay at this hotel, but let me just say the front desk guy was so sweet and accommodating. My sister and I were headed to dinner and discovered we needed to print a paper to get her birthday dinner/invitation there was no kinkos or anything close by so we decided to stop at this beautiful hotel and ask to use the business center. The front desk guy was so nice he let us use it without hesitation and saved the night! Just for that I would come stay and will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family
