Hills and Dales Auto is by far the most honest and professional garage I have ever been too! They take the time to explain the problems and repairs needed to you vehicle AND their prices are VERY reasonable!! Great staffvery friendly!

I've been to Hills and Dales auto more times than most car owners would wish to be at their mecanic over the years (less frequently now that I have a nicer car) and the experience has always been a positive one. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and quality guaranteed repairs that give me piece of mind when I drive off the lot. While it's not the cheapest garage on the block, you'll certainly know the professionalism you're getting if you choose to do business here. I will always recommend them.

I just came from this place. Far away from my home mechanic in Chicago, a local "chain" repair place down the road quoted me a dire 2K in repairs. I got a call from Hills & Dales who said: "come pick up your car. These repairs are not yet necessary, and you can easily visit your guy back home and get them done. Save your money." He didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. Now THAT is what I call a rare breath of honesty. I will bring my next repair here and only here. Thanks guysQ

Best mechanic shop I have been to. I drove from NY to Ohio and my exhaust flex pipe cracked from fatigue and the brutal amount of salt that is used during NY winter days. This place was very clean and I mean very clean. No oil spots or anything on the floor. If they said this shop is also a car show room, I would have believed it. I was greeted by Ken at the front desk was very helpful by giving me the best price. The factory down pipe cost 715 before taxes. But a cheap yet reliable solution was to weld in a new flex pipe. He was very informative and was able to answer all my questions. This shop isn't one of those half ass get the job done and your out. Mike was the one that worked on my car and from what I see, every mechanic in there were friendly and thorough with their work. For example Mike checked my whole exhaust system to make sure there wont be any potential cracks or leaks. He touched up all the welds on my exhaust and got me new gaskets. I've been to many exhaust shops + welding places, but Mike won the professional weld award in my book. Again very thorough. Its safe to say I was treated as family rather than just another customer. Customers car were treated as if it were their own. So no worries, it's safe to go about your day while you car is in the shop, knowing your car is in good hands with all ASE certified technicians/mechanics. If any repairs or work that needs to be done next time i'm in Ohio, I would definitely return to this shop without second guessing. My overall experience were more than satisfactory.
