My family and I go every year for new Years and have the best time. The adults can go do things like beer and wine tasting while the kids go to the pool, hang out in the room, and do other things that are at the lodge. The pool is great because the children can go on the water slide and play in the pool while the adults can watch them from the hot tub. This hotel has the best service and I can't wait until we go back again.
Hershey Park Lodge is spectacular! We enjoyed the Christmas Sweet Lane package! it was our first visit during the winter months and its so nice to see kids enjoy the park and the sweet lights show was amazing. The indoor pool is perfect for families with little one, the lodge had so many activities and this is a very clean hotel. We really enjoyed it. Great prices!
Great place for families. It's no great wolf lodge, but there plenty of things to do for all age levels. The water park was nice and well kept. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The Hershys bar upon check innice bonus!!!
Love the Hershey Lodge! I have only been here for conferences, but it is second to none when it comes to hosting these. They have a few good restaurants, with the Bears Den being the best of them. Always enjoy my time here. Great setting and friendly staff. They now have a newly remodeled water park thing for the family.
What a beautiful place. There is a store inside the lodge where you can buy candies, chocolates or souvenirs. We were there for a Boy Scout event. Honoring the Eagle Scouts of 2016. The meal was delicious & served by a wonderful staff. The dessert was to die for.
Very pleasant staff and well maintained "common areas".
The place could use more attention to detail in updating their rooms/bathrooms. Makeshift fixings in the bathroom were less to be desired. I felt like we were in a super 8 motel inside the room until I walk back down to a common area.
there are so many wonderful things about this hotel. staff is responsive to all questions/concerns. the water park, mini golf and arcade are great. the food and coffee are wonderful. the only bummer is the mattress. we stayed in a double and neither was comfortable. I will be back but I will ask to stay in a different wing. we were in the Hershey kiss wing.
When my wife and I took a weekend trip to Hershey, we wanted to stay somewhere that felt like an experience, and the Hershey Lodge met every expectation. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and cozy (especially the fireplace in the lobby). The indoor waterpark(!) is amazing, the staff are all so courteous and helpful, the rooms have everything you can ask for, and you get free chocolate for any reason or no reason at all. We will definitely be booking further stays here in the future.
Stayed two nights. Had a great time. Many places to eat within the lodge without needing to drive out, which is good because there doesn't seem to be enough parking spots to accommodate so many guests. Which makes the complimentary shuttle bus service to Hershey Park super helpful. The water works is fun, especially the big tube slides. But I didn't quite understand why they had to close the indoor pool when there were thunderstorms outside. All in all I would love to return and stay again another time.
Overall the room was sufficient. Wish there was a microwave, however. Paid extra for cake, balloons, plush characters & card for my husband's birthday. So worth it. It came exactly when I scheduled it to and it was a sweet touch to start the day. The characters should be roaming all day as there are always people coming and going. Food was delicious everywhere. Shuttle buses are so helpful and have the nicest drivers. Will be returning.
Room and employees were nice. The conference amenities were good. Sometimes it was difficult to find the rooms but the staff was very helpful. One of the gift shop staff members really made you feel like it was the sweetest place on Earth.
The hotel itself looked nice. The staff is OK, not great like we expected for the price and hype. We asked for more towels in our room and no one ever brought them. The walls are also very thin. We could clearly hear adults talking as they walked by our room. The included parts (Water Works, Hershey Gardens, free shuttle to the park) were the best part.
Went for dinner to Fire and Grain. The food was excellent though a bit on the expensive side. Strawberry and arugula salad was both sweet and tangy. Gemelli pasta was decadent with nice chunks of short rib. Waitress did a fine job though bus staff was not quite as attentive as we would have liked. Ambience was very much like a family restaurant which was a disconnect due to the high prices.
The Hershey is more an experience than a stay overnight. There are several restaurants attached, a Hershey themed store, and the indoor water park was of course the star for our 3 year old. Food and drinks all have chocolate themes but luckily you can break from that as needed. The room was in fine shape though loose outlets, some grime in the tub and with our location, lots of hall noise all night raised an eye brow. Overall, you are paying for a stay in Grand chocolate central, and it is worth it. The hotel staff are excellent and all seem to have a smile. Food and drinks are consistently good as well. The indoor water park is a must attend if you have kids, so pack accordingly. Towel checkout is available in the pool area, there is also an arcade and snack bar. My family traveled a lot over the weekend, but we got enough of a feel to say we would go back without hesitation.
We stayed at a lodge for two nights. Room services were great and staff working here are pleasantly helpful and kind. Kids pool were not big at all compared to Great Wolf lodge, but just about the right size for my 6 year old. And it is well maintained. I would definitely come back for another time. Enjoy!!
