Went in there for abdominal pains.Staff was inconsiderate to me and my fiancè 25 medical assistants and phlebs on computers but not a doctor in sight. Out of all the staff not one patient was being tended too . Never will I return
Absolute trash, this hospital has never once helped me or my wife when we needed help. Her doctors are through Henry Ford, and they are excellent. HOWEVER this hospital, mainly the ER, is absolutely awful. My wife had to go here for her emergency with her crohn's and instead of helping her, they simply told her she didn't have that, but instead had irritable bowel syndrome. ABSOLUTELY WRONG DINGUS! We are both so fed up with this place. I refuse to ever come here, even if I'm in an accident.
My husband francis Dowling was admitted on March 28, 2016 and then he went to third floorbetween Tuesday morning and then sent to icu someone went through his wallet and took his cash which he over $200.00 I'm so upset about it. 😡
This hospital is very inconsiderate. My sister who is a senior citizen has only medicare which covers 80% of the charges. She would have a secondary insurance if she could afford it. She has a cancwr diagnosis. The hospital handout says they will waive the 20% if you meet certain criteria. You must live in Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb County. She lives in St. Clair County. Wouldn't you think that they could be flexible on this. Every other hospital I spoke with tells me they waive this all the time for any cancer patients. Her doctors are all Henry Ford because we always took my mother there. What a disappointment this place is!!
I have Crohn's and was scheduled for an MRE. Just a sip of water triggers my diarrhea and I informed the medical personnel over and over again. They were very nice and understanding but totally oblivious to the distress I was in. Messed the waiting room, halls, MRE table x 3, all the way out the door and through the parking lot. Pain, pain, pain accompanies the embarrassment. Diapers do not contain diarrhea. BIGGEST COMPLAINT is the bathrooms, several, that I encountered in this hospital. One person restrooms designed for personnel, men and women. All occupied! When I was in, people were banging on the door. Why isn't there multi toilet restrooms in the public areas of this hospital? Will never go there again - no help for my distress. I'm very sorry for the personnel that had to clean up after me, they could have followed my trail to my car . . .
