Love the staff in office and teachers. Couselors were great. Hall monitors were nice. As long as you act respectfully and pay attention to what you're being taught, you will take away a great experience from cvhs. Graduated almost 10 years ago and still think it's a fantastic school.

(Class of 2012)

Senior year I was attacked by a boy (I'm a girl) and I got 10 day suspension for hitting him back and was threatened to not be able to walk across stage for my graduation, school had attack on film and begged my mother to not get news and police involved held my graduation ceremony as leverage.

Was faced with rude sarcastic attitude from counselor (who is supposed to help) when asking for my SAT results to be sent to Universities.
Was treated unfairly by some counselors and teachers for being a minority (LGBT) (received nasty comments and interruptions in my education from teachers and counselors) but to be fair I had teachers that helped me so much and changed my life and helped me with classes that weren't theirs to counter act unfair treatment and stood up for me.

The school doesn't spend their budget on much that actually benefits the students, lots of what the school has the students themselves raised money for.

I now run my own business off of some college education, will be more college in the future, I balance both. So something good must of come from this place, but the experience was awful in more than a lot of cases.

My daughter enrolled in this school 2nd semester for 9th grade, and she absolutely loves this school already. She lives the fact that they're a 9th grade center separate Ferron the high school to prepare for the older kids. My nephew goes here as well, and loves it. She'll definitely be graduating from this school.
