Management has lost sight and education is not the main priority, promotion, name recognition and sales through sports is. They routinely accept transfers but attempt to ruin the lives of KIDS who move away and attempt to play for another school. Steer clear parents!

Worst school ever, the teaching system is a disgrace. The school faculty promotes corruption. Tardiness and absences are not reported on a daily basis. Don't be fooled by the rating of the school. They don't deserve any funding from anyone.

For the last two years my son has struggled. While struggling NOT ONCE did any of his teachers email or call my wife or I to see if there was something going on, if they could help etc. I ce from a family of educators. Just about everyone in my family have been educatira and service men or women as far back as we can remember. It wasn't until I called, visited or emailed the teachers that they became active outside of the classroom. It is really disturbing to me that teachers can't take a few min to contact a parent before the issue becomes a sore spot. I have visited teachers and they talk a good game while they are in front of you then you don't hear anything else for the rest of the year. It's not all on teachers but it should be a team effort to help kids succeed.

I served 10 yrs in the army, I had some terrible soldiers in my 10 years. The one thing thing didn't do was give up on them. I made sure I was very active in those who needed extra help studying for promotions, stay out of trouble or I couldn't succeed unless everyone I was responsible for succeeded. I took my daughter out of her school and moved her to private school where they actually talk to parents and care about the welfare of their kids grades. I'm not saying these at dakota don't care and nor am I speaking for all teachers in the school, just the ones my son has had over over the last two years.

He will no longer be attending Dakota, he is set to attend private school which I hope will give him and us a better experience enteral ting with the teaching staff. If they teacher shows no interest and gives up why would the student?
