For the most part smooth process. Just need better signage to car rental and car rental return
It was my first time flying and it was all okay at first. Everything seemed to be going good, we got through security fast, there were no problems, everyone helped us out when we asked. But then when it came time for our flight to Austin, TX to depart, they inform us that there are no pilots. May I ask what kind of airport just forgets to add "pilots" to there list?! Our flight was delayed for an hour and a half. Then once they got a pilot and copilot they didn't have any flight attendants so our flight that was originally supposed to depart at 10:25 a.m. got moved to 1:00 p.m. We are still at the airport so IF we actually leave at 1:00 p.m., I will update the review.
Gigantic aiport with southern charm. Great restaurants and shopping. I saw a Sean John store, didn't even know they were still a thing. Check out the ceilings in the terminal connecting tunnels.
Long security lines, rude staff, expensive and limited parking options. Considering its the busiest airport in US, I'd not expect much.
If I didn't have to, I wouldn't. This place is a total hole - everyone involved (TSA, airport, and airline workers) are slow, demotivated, and lazy. TSA Pre is a disaster - in Domestic and International (when they bother to open).
Expect long lines, terrible service, and iffy food - even in the "nice" restaurants in E and F.
UPDATE - Customs was a disaster in January, 2017. One lane open on a busy Saturday night? What a mess.
