Harrah's North Kansas City is my go to location to get away for a spell. I enjoy the covered garage parking that makes it easy to access the casino. I typically enjoy the roulette tables. Good payout!

Great place for a weekend wish I lived closer my wife and I have a great time every time we come here. The staff is friendly and very helpful what Midwest living is all about. Rooms are clean and comfy and everything you need.

Not as wild as Vegas, but it has enough gaudy, bright lights, noise and excitement to satisfy most folks.
Great buffet, though kind of expensive on all-you-can-eat crab legs night. Hundreds of food choices and other restaurants if you don't care for buffets.
Did I mention they have all-you-can-eat crab legs? One night a week can't remember which night. Call or look on website for details.response / report this review -

I have stayed here 3 times. Each visit was for a corporate event and was paid for by the employer. I would say it is a decent hotel. The rooms are nice, but very outdated. I'm not into gambling so there is that. If they had a pool/hot tub I would have given this review 5 stars. I would say this is not really a family friendly place since it is a casino.

After eating dinner at Winning Streaks last night, let me just say how impressed we were! The staff was right on point every step of the way; from the yummy food recommended by our server, to the outstanding service received and witnessed throughout the restaurant. I didn't expect much from the grilled chicken quesadillas, you can order these anywhere, but the black beans and corn made all the difference! The cheeseburger was very good, nothing overly exceptional, but the batter dipped fries stood out, yum! Our other entree was the baked Alfredo pasta with chicken, also amazing. I wouldn't expect pasta from a sports bar to be this good. Aside from the food, our server did a great job of staying attentive, as did the manager and many other servers and bartenders all working this Saturday evening. We will definitely be back!

The gaming floor was fairly enjoyable and offered some of the newest games in the market. The saturday brunch was the best I've ever seen their buffet and features a beautiful piece of roast beef the size of a car engine. The staff itself though would make you come back. Special shout out to Winona, slot attendant, and Alma Jean a casino housekeeper. Simply great people and you need more of them!!

Do not stay here. The front desk staff was rude to me because I forgot my ID in my room. Our room keys kept getting deactivated. Our room didn’t even get cleaned. We had our do not disturb sign up until about 10 am. Every other hotel I have stayed in (which is quite a few) they would just return later if you sign was up when they first passed by. When I asked the front desk staff, they just told me that if you get passed the first look they just assume it’s for the whole day. Also I could barely get into the tub to take a shower, it’s too deep and crowed next to the toilet. Not a very great night to our first night as a married couple 😕

I love this place. We have been coming here every October for the past 4 years and changed it up to stay at a different casino this year. (Big mistake). We will be returning next year. Every restaurant had great food and staff was all amazing.

Motel was nice. No complaints. Went to the casino. Didn't see any new machines. Felt like their slot machines were second hand ones from other casinos. Was NOT impressed with casino. Are at the sports bar. Great food and drinks.

I work here, so let me just tell you how it is from my perspective. The people here are putting in a genuine effort to make you happy. I know, at times, we are going to mess up on that. There are times when we simply cannot move the moon for you; but everyone working here will certainly try. For anyone expecting to have a simple snack while here, you may want to reconsider any of the restaurants, because they're more intended for sitting down and getting full meals. There is a lot to do here for adults, but not very much for anyone under 21 to fully enjoy. That being said, the entirety of this resort and us who keep it going can make for an incredible getaway. In the event you ever are unsatisfied, we will do what we can to turn it around. If you have any questions, we will always be happy to help however we can. I know I'm biased here, but I would hope everyone would give our place a chance.

There for an event @ VooDoo lounge. Had a table. Zero service for the table, nothing. No food unless you left the event to be seated at a restaurant for full service, missing the event. Other than this, it was a great experience. Bathrooms clean, facility is well maintained and interesting.

This review is for the all you can eat buffet.
The all you can eat buffet here is amazing. So many food options I had to try but not enough appetite to give. Food is amazing and always nice and hot. Servers are always on point. To top it all off they have a dessert bar that will make anyone and everyone's sweet to go crazy.response / report this review -

We had a family gathering at Harrah's Casino Buffet. The wait staff was great at refilling drinks promptly. The downside was the customer service on the phones. My mother is a senior citizen and it was our first time trying out the buffet. I had researched about the Monday BOGO Free Senior buffet and had a few specific questions on the rewards programs. The morning of the event we gave the casino a call. The lady who answered was abrupt and couldn't answer our questions and then the managers of the Buffet AND the rewards program were both out! When we called again the following operator tried to tell us that that the senior buffet deal is on Tuesday when it clearly says Monday. I recommend retraining your phone staff.

I visited the casino and buffet. Casino is not bad, good selection of slots and table games. Nice to see reasonable minimum on the tables (I found $5 craps and roulette). Staff was friendly and overall pretty clean. The buffet I can't recommend, food looks good but often has been sitting out too long, bread was hard, and deserts on the stale side. Some of the other restaurants looked more promising, if I went back I'd try one of those instead, but have no reservations about returning to the casino, small but nice experience.

We stayed in the Las Vegas tower in a single king we got there at 2 and check in isn't till 4 but they let us check in early free of charge. Originally we had a double non smoking but wanted a king smoking and they switched it no problem. The room was very nice and clean the bathroom had a cook places that could of been a little cleaner but overall it was perfect. Needed to open a bottle of wine and they did that for me no problem. The food at winning streaks was amazing and we had a blast playing at the casino even though we didn't win. Checkout was super easy. Overall our stay was amazing wish we could go back!
