The view was spectacular and if i return it is for that view! The unit felt outdated and small. The hallway is very very narrow with no natural lighting. It reminded me of a scary movie. Inside, the bedroom is at the front entrance (literally can stay on the bed and open the front door) where you are woken up early every morning to staff talking, moving carts, and other guests talking. No bueno. The bedroom is not near the beach view. The living room is. I felt like the bedroom should be near the beach view so you can go to sleep and wake up to crashing waves. The room wasnt cleaned when we arrived my kids found a condom wrapper and woman's hair tie under the bed. Yikes!

Harbour Beach resort is located directly on the beach. It is about 1/4 mile south from international speedway. The rooms are suites, fully equipped with whatever you need. The sunrise is one of my favorite things about visiting this hotel. One of the best sunrises you'll ever see!

As Westgate owners of 25 years, this condo unit falls way short of standards we are used to. There are no organized activities for owners, furnishings are old, the shower stall is full is mildew, nothing here indicates this to be part of the Westgate family, except soap and shampoo from the Serenity Spa (there isn't one here) and a complimentary package of coffee. There isn't even a ball point pen or paper pad with the Westgate logo is in this unit. This is far from a resort.
On the other hand, the pool is lovely, and being on the ocean with fantastic views from the balcony is magnificent.response / report this review -

Pools great. Ocean view and access is superb. Resort is old and rundown. No amenities. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

What a safe and clean place. A beautiful beach side pool that's 10 ft deep and Olympic size length. What's not to love!

Our room 406 was nice. it has been recently remodeled, shower controls and appliances could be updated. Pretty clean, having to use a key to enter the lobby from the pool and or entering the main entrance at night was kinda annoying. We weren't very informed with common questions you may have, we never spoke with staff because there isn't like a check in desk. But overall it was worth the price at only $100 a night.

It had the best view so far. Also I had a room facing the ocean and it's absolutely gorgeous. But the room we stayed in was the smallest I have been in so far and also it had no carpets but otherwise it is anazing here.

We loved it, yes slightly outdated which we didn't mind. However, it is very clean and the staff was awesome. The pool area is very nice. One complaint I saw on here was that you needed a key to get almost anywhere in the hotel. The way things are in this world I didn't mind at all and it's not hard to put a key in a lock turn it if it is to protect. My only suggestion would would upgrade the key system to a card swipe with you hotel door card or another type RFID tap and go system. i want to recognize Mike at the front desk, outstanding customer service. I also want to recognize Adam, I believe he is the maintenance guy, he was nice enough to stay after his time to be off and fix our TV remotes. They both are assets to Westgate.
