Absolutely disghusting. Roaches all over, looks as if they never dust or clean behind beds. May as well sleep in the bathroom. Only nice part of the entire room. Definitely needs to be kept up and re painted. No stars for this place. FULL OF MOLD. Looks as if the place would catch on fire from the air conditioning unit, which also has mold and lint/dust inside of it. Rude staff. Nasty carpets. Place needs shut down.

I have rented rooms there several times and never had a problem.. I was recently there and was kicked out for No reason. The Owner us very nice. His management staff is rude and he has a few housekeepers that engage in undercover pettiness along with his management STAFF. I feel l i was targeted by his staff do to personal reasons!!

20 years in the Navy, traveled the globe & Inn on the Green is in the top three WORST places I've EVER stayed. Rude staff, urine-soaked (still wet) carpets, base-boards & worn-out furniture visibly mold infested, cockroaches (big & small - equal opportunity) making rounds while lights still on, door keys didn't function properly while staff condescendingly scolded me, displaced individuals staying as residents, peeling paint, etc, etc. Why did we stay; dogs allowed. One star was lowest allowed; I'd give it zero. $89/night will be $290/night for the spring bike fest. This isn't even a close-call from a jaded patron, this is a disgusting, repulsive, abortion in the hospitality industry. You've been warned.

Staff is rude and very unprofessional. Had a large barking dog in adjoining room. Front desk stated that the hotel is pet friendly yet have no pets allowed placards on room entry door. They don't even want people that they may have pet/pets next door Clerk stated that she could neither refund nor discount room cost. Either accept to be moved to another room, have her call the dog owners and ask that they control the animal or just lose or money. Finally said that she had a customer and hung up the line on me. Would not stay or recommend this hotel if my life depended on it.

If you think 'Inn on the Green' sounds annoying and pretentious it might IF this place was like that. IT'S NOT. IT IS AMAZING and a family friendly hotel. Arrived at about 8:30 having been travelling for almost 12 hours. Erin was dressed casually and a joyful receptionist. She told us about putting geeen and swimming hours as well as giving us several places with very good food and great delivery times. She also told us about thr continental breakfast.
Staff: courteous, friendly, and extremely professional.
Facilities: 8 out of 10. Spacious room with TWO chairs, a large desk AND a closet large enough for 2 luggage racks. TV had a very clear picture despite being slightly dated.
Shower head a bit funky. The two queen beds were firmly comfortable..
Scheduled 4 night but changed to 3 at check in. Easily done at no charge for the room.
We have a service dog, thanked us but needed his certification or verification card.
Room is spacious even with 2 queen beds. Shower has several strange shower choices but all are largely low power. Great visit. I'll be back soon.response / report this review -

This has been a nice place. The room is very clean and very affordable. The lady at the front desk was nice. We wanted to get away from Tampa and not spend crazy amounts of money and this fit the bill.
We are aware of the tragedy that occurred here but I can't see how this was the owners fault. I'm sure that's why it's so inexpensive.
It appears that they spent money to make it nice. If the grounds outside was a bit nicer it would be even nicer.

Seems to be a decent place to stay short term. Appeared to be people living there and paying week to week, there was someone who appeared to be housekeeping going from room to room. Office was clean and management personnel was friendly and professional.

All the staff were great and very accommodating, I am in a wheelchair and I have a service dog and everything was good, the room was big enough for the wheelchair and very clean

I should've drove off as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. Just seeing some of the people staying at this place should have been a good indication of what I was getting myself int. Unfortunately my boyfriend had already prepaid the room and all the other hotels in the area were booked for the night. The bathroom was the only good thing about this place as they seem to have been remodeled. The bed sheets are not washed between guest. Our bed sheets had food crumbs everywhere. I was absolutely disgusted and will never stay here again.

I went to visit a friend who was staying at Inn on the Green. The room was very nice and she told me it was a very pleasant place to stay. I loved the the bathroom, very nice! I wish they would change the bedspread and curtains to a more modern look. The curtain/bedspread look is so outdated and tacky. But otherwise this is a great, clean place with awesome amenities.

I went to rent a room for my fiance and I to spend a nice weekend together and saw 3 drug deals and then ambulances pull up because an infant was found dead in the pool. And from what I've read and seen on news and talked to guests there, they have been renting to a bad crowd.response / report this review -

I've stayed there several times, for the last three years.. 3 years ago it needed lots of work. However, 3 years later. I'm worried the great rates will increase because of all the improvements that have been made. Currently, this place is a solid 3.5 star hotel. Great pool, and area. Large rooms. Right next to a beautiful lake. Perfectly located too for my needs.
Lastly, I rated this hotel a solid 3.5 Star hotel, yet, I gave it 5 stars.. The answer is the price. Half of the cost of its competitors. To me, thats worth an extra 2 stars anyways..
I have been and I am currently staying here as a paying customer. Heading back to Va. in a couple weeks.response / report this review
