Great Bird Doctor! Doctor Handel is probably the only vet in the immediate area who really understands birds. He not only has a terrific command of their physiology, but he really likes them too!

Dr. Handel is wonderful and everyone that works here is super knowledgeable and kind. But the wait between checking in and actually seeing someone can take up to 20 minutes, even with an appointment and getting there on time.

Handel with Care has some of the most amazing staff I've ever encountered. My dog aggressive dog came back after a nights stay with them and her negative behaviors around dogs were significantly less predominant. They have been helping us through a very hard time with our 2.5 year old dog who needs major surgery. They partner with the best surgeon in the state, so not only are their staff amazing, I know that her surgery is in the best hands as well. We live in Franklin, but if we lived closer they would be our primary vet for our cat and dog.

We became a cat owner purely by chance--an adorable female feline began showing up at our doorstep. Of course, we fed her and you can guess the rest of the story. We brought her to "Handel with Care" for a physical assessment and immunizations. Dr. Handel was terrific--he immediately put our terrified cat (and nervous owner) at ease--and took time to answer all of questions. When our cat was sprayed by a skunk, (after hours) he returned my call promptly and advised us what to do. Our subsequent visits are pleasant; the staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend--

Friendly staff. Always excited to see my pup. It definitely makes a difference when people actually care about their job. Haven't met a single person there that showed me otherwise. The doc is great, friendly and always enthusiastic. As stated prices are high but they offer monthly plans similar to insurance. You definitely get what you pay for however. Highly recommend this place.

Quick check in, clean facility, and caring staff! Dr. Handel was so patient and really listened. He answered all of our questions in detail and offered a lot of tips! Plus it was nice not to feel pressured to buy tests we didn't actually need :) And we loved the follow up call a few days later! Our sick pooch looks and feels better already!
