Great place for sightseeing in NYC, central location everything within walking distance, stayed before would come back again.
Great breakfast included in the price free tea and coffee and use of computers and WIFI. All in all a great little hotel does what it says.

For the price, the location was ideal. It was maybe a 10 min walk to Times Square. The employees were all very nice - including the cleaning staff!! The only complaint is that in the morning it took forever to catch the elevator - but I guess that's just New York.

The room was small but clean. Had all necessities, but no room outside that. It was relatively quiet - only some noise from the hall - and turning the AC on (it was winter but the room was hot) drowned it all out. They had free breakfast, but I didn't get to try it. I did grab a coffee (available 24 hours right past the elevator) and that was good. The people working the front desk were very nice! Overall a very pleasant stay. It was very expensive the days I needed the room for (all NYC rooms I could find available these dates were) and therefore knew it was overpriced for what I was getting, but would be a perfectly great room for what I noticed the "regular" rate to be. Would recommend.

The hotel is nice. There are only 2 elevators though and we often had to wait quite a while for one to arrive at our floor. There is a nice fitness center in the basement that I used. The staff were always welcoming and cordial as we came and went. The location was good for us as we were attending a conference at Javitz. We could walk there and easily walk to Times Square. I would stay here again if our travel plans were similar.

Not a bad hotel, but I'd say the worst out of all Hilton branded hotels I'd stay at. I've always heard space is at a premium in NYC, and that must be true. This is the smallest room I've ever stayed in. Every time I turned in the shower, my elbows hit the door and wall. Had to use toilet bowl and towel holder to hold amenities for my wife and I as there's not enough room on the sink. Tried to work last night but there was no lamp on the desk. I decided that was my clue to just head to bed and ask today. We booked a room with a king bed and I think the sheets are for a queen. They barely go side to side, and if someone rolls over in their sleep, the other person has no covers. At least the front desk has been great.

The guest services here are absolutely amazing! My mother is a professor, and was in New York with some of her students. It was her birthday, and Elizabeth and Peter with guest services and helped me from over 1000 miles away make sure that she had a special birthday! - thank you so much Elizabeth and Peter!

Decent hotel. Pretty typical for this location. Small rooms small bathroom. Not much space, overall a clean hotel. Nice location, my only problem was a few pieces of long hair on my covers. I only stayed 1 night. So can't judge to much.

Reservation made online and the company made an error. Concierge helped us so much and kept the last room on hold until we made it in. Amazing customer service. Comfortable beds, great breakfast. Will definitely stay there again

I really like the look of this hotel. Its placement in the city in regards to other things you want to see is great. The only reason I give it three stars is because my shower drain was stopped up and by the time I was done I was sitting in about three inches of water. Other than that they provide a good complimentary breakfast and if you forget your stuff like a toothbrush they will supply that too.

Overall I had a relatively pleasant experience, but there were a few things that could have been better. Here's the breakdown- Good: nicely clean room, pleasant staff, and a wonderful breakfast. Bad: the ice machine was broken on my floor, so I was forced to go up a few floors to get ice. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but it was a bit annoying. The shower drain was also clogged, which caused water to accumulate when it was being used, which was somewhat unpleasant. Overall it was an okay experience, but would have been immensely better had those two issues been rectified.

Smaller than normal room. Would have been better with tv on wall and smaller desk and closet. Shower also small. Location is nice tho..

Friendly helpful staff, clean facilities and updated room. Somewhat coisey, but you're in Manhattan! Nice location near Penn Station, high line walk, times Square and Central Park. About a block from subway service, including JFK.

The location is the best part of this hotel. It's a 10 minute walk to Times Square. Our room was supposed to have a view, according to our reservation, but it did not. Not worth spending more for a view of the empire state building because there is no view of the building from the hotel, despite what they say online. I called housekeeping to ask for my room to be cleaned during the day while we were gone (an 8-9 hour time period while we saw the city). We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days, and our room was never cleaned by housekeeping! Despite my multiple requests! We found stains on the bedsheets and pillow covers, so it was even more alarming that housekeeping was not at all responsive. Housekeeping only knocked on our door when we had the do not disturb sign on our handle, and when I asked her to return later, she never did. The bellmen were nice, offering to order us a taxi to the airport when we were leaving. The front desk lady made my fiance a small birthday package! It was not a great experience, but I can say that there were little surprises.

Located at a really convenient place and easy for walking to many 'tourist' places. Especially loved the variety for breakfast. Only minus point is the lift which broke down a couple of times during my stay.

Stayed here with my spouse in summer of 2015.Hotel's location is very convenient - 10 min walking to Times Square. Rooms are clean, although a bit small. Breakfast is decent, with changing menu each day. Personnel are the best, always smiling and helpful. Definitely recommend.
