Rooms are dated and so is the lobby. Staff ia wonderful and helpful. Rooms need an upgrade and so does the hallway carpet.
Great value and customer service
I liked staying at this hotel. The room is great and the front desk staff were friendly. I had a problem with the person handling breakfast. I am an Asian American. I'm nice to absolutely everyone. Friendly and understanding. I've never had to deal with prejudice but I felt like this happened to me here. My mother-in-law is caucasion. All I wanted was a little cup of milk because the carafe was empty at the counter. I asjed the individual for a small cup of milk. 20 minutes before breakfast was over. The response I got was "I'm closing up." No apology, or a simple "I'm sorry." My mother in law goes over a couple minutes later after I told her what happened. All she did was ask the same thing, and immediately gets it. I left after our stay very offended.
Wonderful and inviting staff. The hotel was meticulously cleaned. I would most certainly recommend this hotel.
Holly cow this place is awesome.. the breakfast in the morning is AMAZING!! The waffle maker is the beeznees! Staff is awesome. Definitely would come back
I realize they are undergoing renovations. But they have failed to do simple maintenance in the meantime. We had a wobbly toilet that wouldn't flush without holding the handle for several seconds, broken bed frame, in-room coffee maker that added what looked like an oil slick to your coffee, and let's not forget the open kitchen door to the breakfast room with an attendant who shouted obscenities when something blew up in the microwave. As silver Hilton Honors members, we expected so much more. We have stayed in Hilton/Hampton properties all over the country and have never had such a poor experience. We will not be staying at this one again.
We are staying at the Hampton inn to attend a convention in downtown Indianapolis. It's a small distance but the price was better and the drive is a straight highway drive. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is standard fair for this style of hotel but it is fresh and well stocked. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
We a good stay with beautiful views. Staff was very friendly and we got a good night's sleep. Only complaint was the bathroom had hairs on floor and in the sink. But beds were clean and comfortable.
The staff were super accommodating. The pool was well maintained. The breakfast was fantastic compared to most other continental breakfasts.
No problems. Breakfast had lots of options. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Toilet wobbles, though. That can be a little disconcerting.
Location is nice in that it is right off the interstate. Not the best hotel but the best one at that exit.
If I could give this hotel a zero star review, I would. By far this is the worst hotel experience that I've ever had. We booked via Expedia for a King bed, but were put in a room with two, twin beds. The desk person said that since it was booked via Expedia that she couldn't do anything about it. For for three nights, my husband and I had to have our legs and feet hanging off of the beds because they were so short.
During our stay, our water in room 318 was stopping mid-shower. I called the front desk about this issue, and the desk person said, "what do you mean it's stopping." "Like, the water has stopped coming out." She said she would send a maintenance person, but I asked her to wait 30 minutes because my husband was naked and would like to cloth himself before they arrived. We left and when we came back there was no note that someone had been in our room or that the maintenance person had stopped by.
You receive "free breakfast," but be warned that it's only well stocked when it first opens. If you wake up and go down around 8 or 9, you'll likely have to purchase breakfast elsewhere. They don't seem to restock their items during the morning. Very inconvenient.
Also, be warned that their stores are incredibly difficult to open. I literally had to kick them open every time to enter our room because it was so difficult.
If you planned on using the hotel's soap, shampoo, and conditioner (which we did to avoid spillage in our suitcase), you'll be disappointed in the cheap quality. The soap literally ripped out some of my husband's arm hair. We ended up having to just purchase our own items.
For people who work in the hospitality business, the employees were unknowledgeable and lacking in pleasantries. The only person who was friendly was a man in a grey suit, who I assume would be a manager or a GM who greeted me one morning in the breakfast area.
For the amount that we paid, we received an extremely low and disappointing stay. Next time that we're in the see family, we will certainly go elsewhere.
Rooms were very clean, staff was pleasant and attentive. Morning continental breakfast was fresh and well stocked. My only complaint (and it's minor) would be that it felt like there was no support under the tub! No matter where I stepped, it creaked and moaned like it was about to crack. I'm a big guy, but not THAT big. ☺️ This was something different that I've never experienced. Almost like the tub was resting on squeaky floor boards But not in just one spot All over. Needless to say, it was a quick shower.
