Service and breakfast at this Hampton is fine, my room (108) was a bit worn out. Fitness room is fine, equipment is in good condition.
I know many Hamptons and they usually rate five stars. This rates three due to the worn out room. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with the hotel.
It was a nice hotel, but older. They could use some furniture updates and a cleanlier look. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice. The rooms were also comfortable, but again could use updates.
I'm not a traveling sales guy but had a great stay here while on business in the area. Rooms were clean, prepared and comfortable. Friendly staff and a nice lobby. Thanks for everything!
Nice hotel, the room was conducive to conducting business. The bed was quite comfy, and power receptacles were plentiful. Being in an industrial area it was pretty quiet. Though I didn't get a chance to stop, there was a restaurant themed on Twin Peaks at the end of the block; I'll have to visit to find out who killed Sarah Palmer the next time I'm in town.
I had a nice stay. In addition, I accidently left several items behind in the room. They were found by the hotel staff and the manager made prompt arrangements to mail the items. I typically leave $5 as tip for housekeeping and I've heard that about 3 out of 5 people in this hotel price range leave tips.
Loved my stay. Staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was close to many amenities. Would stay here again.
Desk staff always professional and welcoming. Cookies are out promptly at 530pm and warm. Breakfast area has a decent flow to it, but at times can be packed with nowhere to sit. Rooms are big, clean, I like the sheets and pillows here. I wish they had an indoor hot tub. outdoor swimming season is so short here. Fitness room has free weights as well as the normal treadmill so I can get a good all around work out. This is my go to hotel when in detroit central
This Hampton Inn seems to be at that perfect intersection of decent price and quality. The beds are comfortable. The hotels shows some wear, but is meticulously clean and maintained. And the Continental breakfast won't win awards, but it's filling and a decent way too stay a day of travel.
Great place to spend a couple nights. Awesome staff. Would love to stay here again
The complimentary breakfast is very delicious consisting of eggs and make-your-own-waffles instead of your traditional cold bagel. The staff is incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Great service, great breakfast, and quiet hotel. Room was slightly dirty, but the customer service more than made up for it! Would recommend and stay again!
Stayed here three times within the last 4 months. Was supposed to stay a fourth but when I went to check in I was told that I could not because I was not 21 yet. They said they made a mistake the previous three times and that they weren't going to make it again. Did not try assisting me one bit. Pretty much told me that I was out of luck. The GM was very rude and just did not seem to care one bit. She was more concerned with company policy than customer satisfaction. Drove almost 5 hours and now have to find somewhere else on such shorty notice. Don't plan on ever staying with a Hilton brand hotel again.
Room was very clean. I'm a person who gets squeamish about the cleanliness of hotels. This was a very clean room! I was so happy about that. Hotel was also quiet on a Saturday night. The one staff member I met was extremely friendly.
The room was one of the smallest I've ever been in. Did not love that. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom. Isn't that a code violation of some sort? Doesn't there need to be a window or fan in a bathroom? Other than that it was a good stay for the price. Used my AAA discount. Would stay again if in the area due to the cleanliness and quiet.
