The size of the room is great, cozy but very stylish and hip. Staff were very friendly and nice. They dont have onsite amenities like a business center or gym. They do give you a pass to the sportclub nearby if needed and are happy to print anything if you need at the front desk. They have a lounge that appears to be very popular for private events. Very swanky vibe. Would totally come again. Love the ac in the room and that they provide umbrellas in your closet in case it rains.

Great location. Room is not big, but very well arranged. All new & clean. Advise that you book the larger (20m2) rooms, as I can imagine the smaller rooms have to be tiny.

We stayed here a few months back for a whole week and we loved it here. Well situated and well priced for the area. I mentioned it was my partner's birthday prior to booking and we receive some complementary cocktail passes for their very cosy bar to celebrate. Very friendly reception and door staff.

Very Small rooms, but par for the NYC course. The rooms are nice and the beds, super comfy. Great location and not a far walk from anything.

Loved this hotel ❤❤ artsy boutique hotel with lovely furniture and are pieces all around its areas. The rooms are not considered big but they're a comfortable size. Staff is wonderful and cheerful. Easy to get to and lovely to walk to and from.

We had some mixed experience at hgu. The staff is excellent, and the service we received during our stay by them was great. They were friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had less luck with other aspects. We also booked hotel 32|32 right next door for others in our group, so I can say that even considering the great location, this hotel is way overpriced. The room was smaller than the cheaper hotel's. The bed was less comfortable (quite uncomfortable with a hard mattress and rough bed linens). The food at the hotel is also way overpriced. We had $24 burgers, which were good, but not close to being worth the price. As topping for our burgers, they gave us each half a grape tomato. That was actually comical. I will say the bathroom was quite nicely sized, especially considering the size of the rooms. I hate tiny bathrooms, but we had a spacious one that had a great shower. Overall, we appreciated the service, but the hotel was far too overpriced, even when compared to others in the near exact location.

I was in a discounted room so not expecting much but wouldn't be worth full price. Very small room. Night staff did not seem to understand what hypoallergenic pillows/blankets are (all provided were down). Bathroom was literally freezing no matter how high heat in room, water did not ever get hot only mildly warm. "window" looked at concrete wall/roof. But day staff was very nice and slippers/robe/bed/TV/mini-fridge all good. All was clean. Great location. No coffee in room.

We were at Hotel 32/32 which was a great well kept hotel in the Manhattan! Room service was exquisite and the complimentary breakfast was more than complimentary! I would recommend this place for a weekend or more if your going to NY for a while!

This hotel was just remodeled by its new owners and it's perfect. Very attentive staff and inviting bar to relax with a refreshing cocktail. A great location, subway station at the corner connections to all lines. We'll be back!

What a difference a year makes! I can't believe this is the same hotel I used to visit. Under new ownership the place has been completely transformed into a 4-star boutique lifestyle hotel! Gorgeous lobby with tons of awesome artwork, a new evening bar/lounge in the back, and a proper restaurant up front. Rooms are definitely on the small side, but they are so charmingly decorated and appointed that I feel like I am staying in a cozy NYC apartment. Staff is super nice and the AC is really good (small detail, but I can't sleep without air circulation). Also, the beds are literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The GM told me he has never had so many people compliment a hotel bed - so I know it's not just me ;) Only negative is that sometimes the elevator took a little long to arrive, but overall the negatives are not really what I remember because the stay was so great. Highly recommend!
