I've had to take my special needs dog to Guernsey Vet Clinic several times for treatment as well as boarding and they've taken amazing care of my baby every time!! They are professional yet truly care for your pet as if they were their own. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for your service to our community and our beloved pets.

If your animal needs surgery or is in critical condition, I would suggest you go elsewhere or at the very least get a second opinion. These people are probably fine for routine vacinations. I would not trust them with anything more severe.

One of my beloved cats, he was 24 years old, could no longer stand or even walk. His quality of life was very downhill from there. We have a "contract" with our pets that once they can no longer care for themselves that we have to do it. I brought my pet to them and they puts us in a back room that was quieter and wouldn't scare my lil buddy. We waited for about 40 to 45 mins for someone to come back. Finally the Dr (I'm guessing) came back and we talked about possibly doing blood work and such to see if there was something that might help him. I decided to not put my buddy through that said no. Next thing I know the "Dr" put a butterfly needle in his back leg and gave him THE shot. When she pulled out her stethoscope and pressed it against his chest I wanted to hit the Dr so hard. EVERYONE that I've talked to that had to put down their pet said that the Dr gave a first shot to put the animal to sleep. My buddy was looking right at me when the Dr said, "I am so sorry". I even had to close his eyes. I was so furious that I wanted to punch the Dr but I just left the room and I will NEVER go back there again. When I had lost a pet in 2012 they walked me through every step before actually performing it. I was NOT prepared to watch my buddy to be put down in front of me. POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE for someone going through a VERY traumatic time in their life. If any of you have a pet that needs to be put down and you don't care, yeah, go to them but if you're like me and that pet was a very important part of your life, PLEASE do not go here. It was even more traumatic with that ordeal let alone your family member passing. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that nothing like what I just wrote will ever happen to you.

I've been to A LOT of vets and please trust me don't go here. Please go to animal clinic.
They old me it would be $73 to fix my cat and it was $97! I need every penny I can save to care for the animals I have rescued. They are the dumbest people, I do tons of business with animal clinic but they've gotten so full with new patients I had no choice but to fix my cat here, wish I would of waited. I would of started going here and they would of had a really good customer. But ripping me off for one appointment was more important, stupid.response / report this review -

I love taking my dog, Cooper, here. It is such a nice and friendly environment. I always feel welcome and Cooper is always treated excellent. Not to mention how clean and up to date the facility is. Thank you Guernsey Veterinary.

We have never had a bad experience. Our fur babies are now 9 and we took our previous fur baby here as well. Multiple emergency surgery and other issues and all handled professionally and kindly!!

We just adopted a loving dog that is allergic to everything under the sun. Guernsey vet clinic has done a wonderful job guiding us to make the best decisions about our dogs health. They take time to answer our questions and are very knowlegable. Wonderful to work with and very polite! Thank you for helping us take such good care of our newest pet!
