Best Korean BBQ place around. The prices are a little high, but it is worth it! They have the best meats you can find!
Absolutely amazing one of the best experience I've had. The food was so good and the best opposition to get if it's a large party is to do the ALL YOU CAN EAT. Love love love love this place
First time ever doing Korean BBQ and I loved it. Food is cooked right in front of you. Definitely need reservations for this place. I also recommend that you not wear anything super nice. Don't want splatter on your nice threads.
Food was great, service was very attentive and cooking was on point. We had a large party and they were very accommodating. They let us sit extra to eat a cake we brought in and gave us plates, forks, candles, and a birthday hat..which was pretty funny. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because the plates were pretty dirty. We asked for fresh set and that set was dirty too. Nothing that would stop me from eating or going back there but it holds me back from giving 5 stars. Definitely give this place a shot.
First time at a Korean BBQ and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The wait staff was extremely friendly and informative regarding any questions I had. I plan on coming back here.
Very generous with freshness and quantity. The service was quick but we never felt rushed. Plan ahead with getting a reservation as this place fills up. I like the clean industrial vibe.
I really liked this restaurant, the food is really great. I like having access to silverware without asking the waiter, and the ability to put my handbag/jacket inside my seat. I've been back a few times because I love Korean food. This place does serve lettuce with Korean BBQ (As all places should, but there are a few places I've been to that don't). I like some of their waiters, but others are not my favorite (been brought incorrect meals/charged extra for random things where I haven't been changed before/water never gets filled). However, I understand mix-ups and them being busy. One time I went and some other customers insisted on having the window open, which created a bunch of wind (in a packed restaurant) because of the air pressure inside. Wish the server would tell them to close it, but I had to spend my meal shouting to my friend right next to me. Overall a good place, but it would be great to have a second restaurant so that the crowd would dilute a little bit. I once went and was told their next available table would be at 9PM. It was like 2pm on a Thursday. That's my bad, you should call ahead with the popularity of this place.
I usually go to honey pig for Korean BBQ but my brothers told me about this place so I have it a try. Whenever my friends are in town they love to go get some Korean BBQ. This place is a little hole in the wall in Annandale. We came Sunday night and it was fairly busy. Waited for about 20 minutes for a table for 3. We sat at a table with two other people but had our own grill. There is an a la cart option or an all you can eat option with two choices we went with choice A. Under $30 per person. I like the variety and that it is all you can eat. A much better deal than honey pig but I like both places. I would definitely come back and tell my friends about this place.
Yo, unfortunately I've got no shots. This place is incredible. I've had honey pig and ironcage thinking it was very good. Kogiya has just such a better cut of meat. The staff are pretty dank too. You'll really have a ball there
Not a bad place to get some souju. Service is fantastic, even during packed times. My favorite restaurant in the DC area. Can't visit DC without eating here.
Great service! The staff were warm, welcoming, and catered to our allergy needs. They have really improved the meat quality too! Prime rib eye was excellent.
Food was delicious, service was decent, atmosphere was nice. There were five in our party and we came mid afternoon. We called that morning to reserve a time, walk-ins were waiting at least 10 minutes while we were there, it's probably a long wait if you go during a popular meal time. We went with option 'A' I believe, which was a round of brisquit, spicy chicken, followed by pork and pork belly. Meat was great though I was envious of the beef option that neighboring tables were having so I'll probably try that next time. The restaurant serves Cass and soju, in case you want a more traditional experience. I would definitely go back to this place.
This place never disappoints. Consistent good service, friendly helpful staff, and great food for value. Pro Tip. Ask to have the soup and egg towards the end of the meal. Nice way to end the whole meal.
The service was great. The wait staff was fast in getting the meat out & they even flipped the meat for you & set it aside.
But out of the 5 all you can eat meat in the option A menu, only two were good. The soup, & side dishes could be better. The coffee at the end of the meal was great though.
If you want a good price for a lot of meat, this is the place to go. But if you want super tasty meat, there are other better places to go.
