Expensive
It is a great college book store with a lot of supplies and novelty items, though can be a little pricey.
You can get almost anything that a bookstore houses, but it is quite pricy. Everything here is husky-fied, i.e., there is a touch of Northeastern on almost all the products available here, but that comes at a cost of its own.
We've come to this Barnes and Noble and couple of times. They keep the store clean and maintain it very well. They have one security guard at the entrance who is pretty friendly and says hello as you enter.
The back of the store has a Starbucks cafe and restrooms. I only come to Barnes and nobles for last minute gifts.
If you shop here a lot, you can join the rewards program for $25 and get 10% off your order.
It was nice to get a few Northeastern University goodies while attending graduation.
Beautiful store and to this date has had everything I've needed. The reason I took a star away is because I think is too expensive.
Went in to buy a book that I needed only for the last two weeks of my class and was treated incredibly rudely by the older staff. The student who was trying to help me was very sweet, but they grey haired man who was clearly in charge rudely stated that they wouldn't have the book and that I should have gotten earlier since my quarter is almost done. I asked why they wouldn't have it, since the course was offered every quarter, I was told that they didn't have the book and that they had none of the books for my program. Interestingly enough, the bookstore does have the book for another course, and it is on the shelves, and the employees were too lazy and quite frankly rude to even search their computer system for it.
After spending almost two thousand dollars at this store, I will never shop here again.
Good selection of textbooks, but not much else that is useful and/or reasonably priced.
