We have been coming here for years as it is a tradition. Very nice trees and the staff are always friendly. The parking lot at times does indeed get crowded but they try to accommodate everyone the best they can! See you all again this year!!!

We had a great experience here! The staff was super helpful. If you want to chop down your own tree, they supply you with a saw and a cart. When you're finished getting your tree, they wrap it up and tie it to your car for you. It was only $35 total for us and I'd say that's definitely a great deal. If you don't want to chop down your own, they have all different kinds of precut trees. I definitely recommend this place! It was lots of fun. There's also a little Christmas shop with some inexpensive snacks and hot chocolate.

Most of the trees were young. There were lots of different types of trees and there were many to choose from. Cheaper than most local Christmas tree farms but still a little pricey. Overall Grupp's Christmas Tree farm is one of the best farms in the business. If you are still looking for a tree this year consider Grupp's for your Christmas Tree.

Pretty great experience for first time tree shoppers. The older gentleman was super friendly and made the experience really nice. Will deff consider this place in years to come.

Have been there 4 years in a row. Great trees albeit expensive. Generally good service. 2015 tree almost fell off roof. Had to pull off highway and secure. This past Christmas I paid $115. Instructed the staff to trim the bottom layer of branches, cut down trunk, and drill hole. They trimmed branches and drilled hole. Did not cut off the 6 inches at base. Brought tree home and it was too tall (with bare branch at base, could not just trim top off). Called place was transferred to OMG (old man Grupp/grump). He said if I was displeased to bring the tree back and that I should have supervised his staff in order to make sure they did it right. I said that would be a waste of time as I live 45 mins away. Asked for a $20 coupon or discount next year as I had to get someone to saw off bottom. He said they don't do that. I said no problem. I will find another place next yr. In the end the tree was fair. Dried out early despite nourishing.

I find it hard to even give Grupp (Grump) Farms one star here. We have been harvesting our Christmas trees there for several years spending top dollar for not only the trees but also in their store. Each year we have always taken our 14 foot trailer to the tree farm to accommodate a very large tree for our high ceilings in our house. We have always pulled the trailer in the same spot as the parking spaces available are not adequate to accommodate and it has never been a problem before. This year after parking in our usual spot we were accosted by the owner by him yelling at us and demanding who gave us permission to park where we have in the past. He was so loud and rude about it my 13 year old daughter was very upset asking "daddy what did we do wrong?" . We are not sure why he was so angry as the parking spot was very dry and we were customers!!!! He could have simply been nice about it and asked us to park somewhere else but he was very loud and angry asking "Who told you could park here and who do we think we are?" I simply said we have parked here for the last several years and he said he didn't care that there was no need for us to have such a "Big Rig" to get a tree so I guess if you want a tree that is to large to strap on a SUV you are not wanted there. They really have nice trees there, but if you run into old Mr. Grump it might ruin your Christmas spirit as it did my 13 year old daughter's spirit this year. It's too bad really as it is such a nice farm. In closing, we left without a tree, with feelings of shock, bewilderment and total disappointment of such rude treatment to repeat top paying cash costumers. We won't be back again.

Superb selection of trees, we had trouble narrowing it down among 4-5 perfect Canaan firs. This is the place to go to cut your own tree. Huge assortment of tall, full trees - hundreds to pick from in the 5-7' range. We also saw some very nice 9-10 footers for those looking to go big. Huge selection of full, healthy Canaan firs and Concolor firs among the front section of the property near the staff lot (we got a Canaan). They have Fraser - but only in pre-cut. Also a healthy, expansive selection of Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir and Scotch Pine. Well worth the drive from Pittsburgh - most employees are younger adults, but all were very helpful, polite and courteous. We got ours on Sunday 11/27, and there was a steady flow of trees heading out strapped to cars the entire time. Not sure how many will remain at the close of next weekend - but you should be able to find a tree you like within minutes if you visit by 12/4. Not sure how quick they will sell out after that

A group of four families have gone to Grupps the last five years. This was the last year for two of us due to the rudeness of the older man which I believe is the owner. Last year we got yelled at because we payed for a 12 foot tree and it was 12' 2" his employees measured it gave us the ticket and we went to pay. When returning to pick up the tree the grump was measuring the tree himself told us the tree was larger than 12 feet and hassled us about the price . He proceeded to yell at his employee very rudely about the measurement . Forward to this year a couple with us who also purchases a large tree was hassled by the older grumpy guy about the stand drilling process which we have nothing to do with. His employee drilled the tree before it was picked up he went off about it in front of us . The trees are very nice and the place is also nice but he needs to give it a break at least in front of customers considering most people pay cash.

Christmas tree season comes early this year and the post-Thanksgiving rule does not apply! Grupp's Christmas Tree Farm has provided the most beautiful Christmas trees I've ever seen in my living room!! Throughout the last few years, memorable tree cutting experiences have been made with a lot of laughs and a lot of fun I highly recommend it!! Feel the magic of the season at Grupp's Christmas Tree Farm.

My wife and daughter decided to try a new Christmas tree farm this year (19DEC2014). As many of us do we take the family dog to enjoy in the spirit of enjoying a brisk walk to find the very best tree to cut down. It wasn't long before we exited our vehicle that we heard an old Grump (Grupp) yelling that no dogs were allowed from 75 yards away. Tact, professionalism and common decency, let alone Christmas Spirit does not exist here. This grouch scared my 9 year old so much to where she started to cry. Personal recommendation: avoid this place, it's negative energy based off how he handled the situation and really, no dogs allowed on a farm?
