Always a great outing at the Troll. Good selection of beers with free tastes. And the food is great. Tried the avacodo turkey wrap. It was good.

Stopped in for a quick order of garlic knots and a pizza, the first order of garlic knots took 20 minutes to arrive, and we're raw in the middle. The marinara also appeared to have either spaghetti or some kind of worm in it. They ended up putting in a replacement order for us which took another 20 minutes.
We were at 45 minutes into the quick visit with no food and starving kids. The table of 12 next to us that ordered after us got their apps and pizza well before our table of 4. Pizza was mediocre. Second order of knots seemed to be cooked. Another server delivered the second basket or knots, so I asked her for the check. She said our server was downstairs having the manager comp the order of knots for us. When we got the bill- they charged us for the stupid garlic knots.
While I'm reviewing them I feel I should also mention that the beer is extremely average. I can only assume the success of the restaurant is due to a small town with lack of options.

Tl;dr: slow, inattentive service, raw food which they charge for.

2nd time I've been here and both times I left satisfied. Both the food and service are just fantastic. This smaller town has a whole lot to offer, and before leaving, I find it a requirement to check this place out! Oh, and they also have a great beer selection!

Only stopped for beers, The beer was great, people are nice' very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone eating seemed to be enjoying the food. Prices are reasonable.
UPDATE 02/17/2018 stopped for pizza and beer. I beer is still great and pizza is very good with fresh tasting veggies and really good crust.

Delicious thin-crust pizza. We really enjoy the Cosmic Swirl. Impressive brews, starting live music on Sundays again I think. Nice place to take in a game and beverages, top of with pizza. Great service every time.

Food was really good, we got a variety of appetizers but was big enough to fill us. Our waitress was really good and attentive. Would like very to go back again when we are in the area.

Great food and service. We always stop here if we're in the area even though we live 3 hours away. John likes to sample the different home brews and the homemade root beer is very good. Servers are always ready with suggestions

An unexpectedly good pizza place in the middle of a small town. If you are a tourist to Cave of the Mounds then this is a great place to visita bout 5 minutes away. The pizza compares to some of the better places in the Twin Cities.

When you go in you can either go upstairs for pizza and the bar or stay on the main level for menu dining.

Service was great and a nice open atmosphere.

I went there at 2:30 in the afternoon on recommendation from the girls in the office at the Wisconsin Surplus office. Everybody was really friendly the people seemed genuinely happy. My friend really likes his food especially the extra crispy fries when requested. My food was good I really like your coleslaw. Nice to find a good place out of town and I will be back.

Fabulous food and great beer! The house salad was delicious and my husband's burger was actually cooled medium rare as requested. It has a loud and fun atmosphere.

Was very good. About a 15min wait on this Sunday afternoon. Went upstairs to the pizzeria and enjoyed a beer (the offer samples of all their brews) Back down stairs after our buzzer went off, to good service and very good food. Just had sandwiches but a few larger pretzels came out of the kitchen, will try that next time I'm in town, it was prob. About 12-14 in in size. An appetizer for maybe up to 4 people. So overall if your in My. Horeb check it out, it's good all around.

We sat at the bar and had a beer flight. It was great trying all the bees only sold at the restaurant.
The bartender was phenomenal and the bacon on my burger was the best bacon ever! Get the dip with the homemade chips! I'll be coming back soon for a taste of that bacon!!!

Come for the beer stay for the food! This is an excellent brew pup. They have a lot of beers that they brew. The sampler is a lot of fun. The food is excellent as well.

Every thing here was amazing. Beer cheese soup was perfect so perfect we got some to go. French dip melts on your mouth! Nice staff. Very clean also.

Drove 90 minutes here just for lunch and to enjoy the fall colors along the way. We haven't been here in years, but wanted something different than the usual places. The menu was diverse and the specials were very good too! Loved the pumpkin cheesecake too!

The food was good. Everybody was nice except our waitress. Our server Dawn G. did not do a good job at all. She forgot what we ordered, changed my wife’s order. When I asked about my order she said “you didn’t order that”. We were wondering why she avoids us. Than we heard that our waitress told to the bartender, she was really hangover. So, that explains everything.

Excellent brew pub! Not only great beer but fantastic food as well. Our server was attentive and brought out cookies for the kids at the end. Nice atmosphere for an enjoyable lunch before heading home to Michigan. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and was very happy with the portion and quality.
