Great little local coffee shop. They have oodles of baked goods - including some gluten free treats!

Cozy, local coffee place with plenty of things to read. Quiet enough to have a small meeting or do some work on your iPad or laptop.

BEST place for coffee in Bowling Green. I always recommend to out of towners to stop here. They have a great selection of whole bean coffee, and with an option to have it ground makes it very convenient. I love the that they also sell and buy used books, its nice to look around and find some far off story of adventure or an interesting biography.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Bowling Green. The coffee is always fresh and delicious and they have a great assortment of doughnuts. They offer a small selection of gluten free baked goods, which are quite tasty. There is a laid back atmosphere where you can browse through a large selection of books and vinyl records, play chess, work on a puzzle, or sit at one of the tables and chat with friends or complete homework. Highly recommended!

A rare five-star rating. Where else can you get incredible while browsing even more incredible antique books (at very reasonable prices)?! I will definitely return.

Grounds For Thought is an incredible place. I say place because coffee shop does not do it justice.
It is a huge public library where books can not only be borrowed but also bought.
It also sells incredible coffee and coffee drinks at a remarkable price. In addition to this, they also sell pastries which are delightful.
Vinyl records, comic books, and art of a variety of forms and medium are also sold here.
All of this together creates an incredibly unique and enjoyable atmosphere that is great for just relaxing, reading, working, or any other sort of event.
    Love it.

From a fantastic coffee and pastry board, to a wide array of comics, books, and movies and records, this is the hot spot to be. I've worked for hours on end on class and work asisignments just embracing the welcoming and warm atmosphere. Friendly, courteous staff are always present. Love the live music and poetry events, too. Always fun to drop in! Kelly wicks is fantastic and hopefully will not only be running this marvelous gem of a shop, but hopefully running for office again and WINNING - he deserves it!

It's where locals and college students., The tons of books, old records and great wait staff make it cozy. The different interest groups make it fun.

One of the best local coffee shops you will ever visit! You will find the owners working the counter most days and they roast their own coffee about a block over from the shop. You will find a good selection of used books here as well.

As a bibliophile and coffee addict, this place is the best of both worlds. Charming and cozy but varied in it's selections. I would go every day if I was able

Always good and fairly consistent. A little pricey, especially the desserts! Great ambiance and atmosphere though, and an excellent place for quiet reading, studying etc. Also have rooms for groups or meetings. Lots of books and magazines to enjoy and purchase, plus different activities like puzzles.

This may be my favorite coffee shop I've ever been to. It's locally owned, drinks and food are amazing, and prices are the best you will find for a real espresso bar. I love the mint hot chocolate, and well, every drink here! Great bakery items also. And I love the used bookstore feel. It's a great place to come relax.
