Granby Ranch Ski School is the best! Ryan got us set up for my family of six teenagers, Kat got us checked in, Kristen handled all our passes, Paul made sure we found our instructor, the rental area helped us with our equipment, and Patrick was an amazing snowboard instructor. Everyone was so personable and friendly and FUN! A very caring resort. We come back time and time again. We learned to ski here and now we are learning to snowboard here. Great place for families.

We love this place. It's a little known gem of a ski resort near Winter Park. The best part is that it isn't crowded. This means you can get on the lift quickly - no lines and no waiting- and get more runs in during the day. They have two mountains upon which to ski. One is more of your beginner slope and the other is more of your advanced slope. Either way you slice and dice it this is a great place to ski in Colorado.

It is family friendly and self contained so no one ever gets lost. Runs are well maintained. Runs not too long not too short, not too easy not too difficult. Difficult skiing is available. Easiest in and out I have ever seen.

This resort is a great size for families! Small enough to where it is easy to find each other and enough runs open so you don't get bored. My nieces and nephew had been skiing only a few times before and loved all of the green and blue runs! We had a blast despite the lack of snow this year.

We came up for the weekend and stayed in the condos across from Silver Creek. We did not have a vehicle and Granby Ranch does not provide any type of guest shuttle. A handful of Granby Ranch employees told us to ask the employee shuttle driver to bring us down and 2 other Granby Ranch employees told us we were not allowed to do so, but offered no solutions to us. They even advised us to hitch hike? No thank you. Luckily, we had an AMAZING taxi guy. The check in and rental area was complete chaos. We stood in line to get fitted for rentals for over an hour and was late to our lesson. We even arrived earlier than the time that was advised on the phone when I made the lesson reservation. Minus being 30 mins late, the snowboarding lesson was great, Paul (I think that was his name) was amazing! He was very helpful and did a great job at explaining and teaching the basics of snowboarding. The runs are perfect for beginners or people who just want to have a nice, chill day on the slopes. The prices are also very reasonable, as long as you’re not expecting the Winter Park Resort. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at Granby Ranch and would return!

They won’t let a hunter walk 20’ on their land to access Public BLM Land but they will let someone walk their dog and poop anywhere it pleases. The jaded white haired old man who works in the real estate office is rude, I was only asking if it was ok to park on the side of the street so I could hunt the “Public” land that is surrounded by the land that Granby Reality owns and he got an attitude with me. Maybe Granby Reality should charge an access fee to the land to help pay for the two years of taxes that they owe. My family has a timeshare in Granby Ranch but after talking with that rude old man I’ll never spend a dime on anything in that place again.

There with our RV for kids mountain bike race again. They charged us $40 to set up in the upper parking area. No amenities. Don't like a gouge but there were no other options near the race site.

Bike park is top notch! Trails are well cared for, lift staff is always friendly. Trails are killer. Service and availability of food/bev at base is spotty, and a bit pricey.

Such a beautiful area. My son and I got a lift ticket to do some mountain biking. The trails are awesome, full of berms and jumps. The bike patrol is helpful as well. We had a little crash and they were quick to show up and got us some ice.

Went to a wedding reception set up there, and the service and atmosphere were great. The franchise also has a ski lift that leads to a very nice mountain overlook

Went for the skiing, rather than golf. Very affordable lift tickets and most of the runs are not aggressive for a good beginner or intermediate outing. They have a skills park for adventurous snow sports and the opportunity for much more time going down the mountain than time spent standing at the bottom, waiting for the lifts.

My family LOVES this place. My kids are skiing for their 2nd winter and my wife grew up skiing all over the country - including winter park and steamboat. EVERYONE loves it! Great staff, not too crowded and lots of locals.
