The food is tasty but the sandwiches are ridiculous. Trying to be impressive, they are too tall to even take a bite. We are local and would love to be "regulars" but it is just overblown.

Fantastic food! People have told me about the burgers here for years. They did not disappoint. Burger was cooked to order (medium), the fries crisp, and the beer cold. Solid selection in bottle and on tap. The only draw back bring the Parking is a little tight .

Great place for burgers! This is one of our son and daughter in law's favorite places, and I can see why. The Gordo burger was very good and they have tried many of the other burgers also.

Nice little place. We had burgers and fries. Very good. Large selection of beer. Service was adequate. Nothing special.

My fiancè and I had heard about this place from people at Listermann's and decided to try it out. We were not let down at all! We first got stuffed jalapeños, which were a lot spicier than we had anticipated, but they were still delicious. Then we ordered the renowned hamburgers: he got the Hangover and I got the French. And seriously, I would come here again and again for the burgers. They were amazing! There is a bacon, peanut butter, and jelly burger that I'm very interested in trying. If you're looking for a filling burger, this place is the right place.

Gordo's is the quintessential burger pub. The buffers are first rate, the Gordo is still my favorite. The beer selection is solid. Service is excellent.

The service was great and the food was delicious! The servers were friendly and personable. My only dislike was how they make the burgers. They are thick and juicy, which is great, but it was too small for the bun. This makes the first bites and last bites underwhelming because you mostly get bun and no burger. Once you get to the burger though, prepare to unhinge your jaw like a snake to devour the delicious beef gem. I ordered the empanadas also and they seemed to be executed well. Their chef or chefs seemed to be on point when we went because nothing seemed overambitious or sloppily put together. After reading about Gordo's, my mental bar was set pretty high and they met that expectation. I'd definitely go back!

So here's the thing about Gordo'sit's really very good food, it's clean enough, and the service is just fine. The real reason to go to Gordo's is atmosphere. The staff and owner have managed to create a vibe that is quintessentially Norwood. Gordo's is also great for impromptu meals requiring conversation.
    Lunch meeting? Gordo's.
Dinner with mom and dad? Gordo's
Quick bite with your sweetie? Gordo's

    Totally worth it.

Great food and service. Men's bathroom is more of a "pub" style with the graffiti and the way you "lock" the door. Also has a great selection of craft beers. Parking can be a pain during peak hours of buisness.

Easily one of the best burgers in town. The Gordo with boursin cheese is amazing. If you are in the area it's worth a visit. Like any other great burger place, everything is made from scratch though so it can take some time to get your food.

Top notch burgers! I never miss a chance to eat at Gordo's when I visit Cincinnati. My favorite burger is the Jean Robert and I can't wait until I can have one again! There is so much flavor in the meat they use for their burgers that I would wager Gordo's is Cincinnati's best burger.

Burgers are delicious, unique toppings, friendly feel - I had the Gordo burger which was really filling. I also thought it was delicious. My wife had the Hawaiian burger. The meat itself was very flavorful. Fries needed more seasoning. I'd recommend checking this spot out.

This is one of the best local burger joints in the area. I love the variety of burgers - my favorite is the French-inspired Jean-Robert burger but I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch. Add that to a great beer selection and you've got the recipe for a seriously good time.

One note - seating is relatively limited and it's close to Xavier, so don't come right after a basketball game!
