We've been dying to try this place forever, especially since they reputedly have some excellent burgers. Unfortunately, they are currently serving a 'limited' menu, which means no burgers, but mostly fried apps and such.
We had wanted to knock back a couple of brewski's but ended having a frozen pizza and a cup of homemade chili.
The pizza was a typical frozen pizza, neither bad nor good, but not worth the money we spent on it.
Our drinks were happy hour prices and that came to maybe $7 total. That means since our bill was $20 and change, the small pizza and cup of chili was about $13.ouch!
The chili was homemade and it was good and served with a slice of toasted bread. The owner who was working was super friendly, checked on us frequently and was very honest about the kitchen situation.
Be aware there is only ONE restroom for each gender in a place that looks like it holds about 100 or more folks. There were videos playing on the screen while we there but it wasn't uncomfortably loud.
The strange thing to us was that there were a couple of customers in there eating Mexican food on the bar. I don't know if they were employees or what, but they weren't even drinking, they were just eating their dinner on the barhad I known they were going for a food run, I would've asked them to pick us up some.
