My husband had labs this morning at VA ​ and had to be npo. After labs we're done and between appts we decided to grab him some breakfast. He loves the food at pancake house and we visit frequently. This morning I only wanted coffee.. no food. Husband ordered a large meal and jokingly said, yeah you will probably eat off my plate.. I said no, I ate before you woke. Waitress tells me that if I eat anything from his plate.. she will have to charge me a 2.00 up charge. I didn't want his food, I just wanted coffee and that's all I ordered. I do NOT understand why I would be charged 2.00 though had I shared his food if he wasn't going to eat it. He had already purchased his meal and it wasn't all you can eat or anything. Makes no sense to me at all!!! As always he enjoyed his food but was also aggravated and what he didn't eat, the waitress threw away We won't be back I'm sure..

This is the second time we've been here, the first being last year. The food is excellent, and the people even more so. From the hostess to the waitress and the busser, they all have a wonderful, friendly attitude. Last year, we didnt know what to order and it took forever to make up our minds. This year, all the adults came for the corn beef hash. In my opinion, it's the best thing on an already tasty menu. I can't say enough good things about this place! Yes, it's small and you might have to wait for awhile (this time the wait for our party of 9 was about 25 minutes), but it's well worth it.

We juat ate here for the first time today!! The workers are great kind an very helpful. We had the special biscuit an gravy eggs an hash browns. I did not care for the biscuit an gravy but im pregnant so thats probably why how ever there shreded hash browns are amazing along with the scrambled eggs so good i had to place an order to go for more. ;) we will deffently be back again for some more decilious food. I cant waite to try the quesadilla!!!

First time eating at The Pancake House was impressive. I've always loved breakfast and am very picky about it since most places can't even handle cooking eggs correctly. No such worries at The Pancake House. I've noticed there is usually a wait to get a table, but ours (a party of 3) took about 10 minutes. Small seating area was clean and the interior of the restaurant is very nicely updated. Our server was Maryanne (Nana) who was kind and warned us of the HUGE pancakes so we could enjoy the other items without going into a coma from eating a double stack-- two pancakes slightly larger in size than the plate it is served on-- and she checked on us a couple times without being intrusive. The fresh corned beef hash was seasoned just right and was portioned generously. We also ordered a half order of french toast made with hawaiian sweet bread, perfectly crisped and requiring little syrup. Overall we loved eating at The Pancake House and will try to visit as much as we can from now on. ✌

Sit at the counter if you want to chat with locals and get that old time country diner feel. It reminds me the Liars Table that all the farmers sat at. Big portions and great quality.

I had the honor of having the chubby burrito; it didn't disappoint. It's a massive breakfast burrito that is known to destroy bowels in a single meal. Lots of comfort food at this place with a small town feel and attitude. The waitress treated us great and it was a pleasure to eat here.

We just love the pancake house. We never eat breakfast anywhere else. The food is always perfect and so delicious.
The staff is always cheerful and friendly no matter how busy they are. We feel like family and just love them all.
There is usually a bit of a wait, but we know it is worth every minute. .

Amazing food. Had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and the multigrain pancakes. The pancakes there are huge, and full of flavor. Staff is very friendly and food comes out fast. The only complaint I had was that the coffee tasted watered down

Great place. Was recommended to me by a local hotel we were staying at. Went by it the first time as it's a little hard to spot if not looking for it (Its an old sonic with a small banner out front). A little cramped inside but not bad. Staff was super attentive and very nice. The chicken fried steak breakfast was the best I've had in awhile!

Always good place to grab breakfast, been going here after service on Sundays for over 3 years now and the food is so consistent and never disappoints.

the food is pretty good and the prices are decent. The only downfall is that the space is very small and you have to go through the kitchen to reach the restrooms. I mean who wants to sit there and watch the dish boy do dishes while they're waiting to pee. Not me! If I return a used to drive through or if the weather is nice I will sit outside
