I really wanted to like this place, but after visiting on two separate occasions, I just can't recommend it. The food was okay, the pool is relatively small but by far the reason for the 1 star review is the absolutely horrendous service. It took almost 2 hours from time of order to getting the checkgetting food took over an hour. Both visits, all they keep saying is they are short staffedmy visits were 3 weeks apart from each other, so not just a bad day. Too many other options at the lake.

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning the week after Labor Day. Atmosphere was nice and quiet. Waitress was pleasant and did a good job. Food was okay. Mine was too salty for me but my company had no complaints about their food. The table bucket holding all plastic utensils and condiments had a dirty napkin in it from at least the day before (we got there when they opened). Real silverware should be used at this restaurant if you want to be kind of upscale. Same for the table buckets. Get rid of this disgusting practice that is too common at the lake.

We have tried this place 3 times now. Wow this place is bad - even by lake standards. Yes, the pool is nice (but small) but the service is forever slow. Always the same story - "we are short staffed - sorry". Over labor day weekend they ran out of fries (what restaurant doesn't have fries), the soda machine wasn't working - oh and they didn't tell us any of this until after food was already ordered. That was the last visit. The other two visits were just as bad for service - over two hours for food from the time we sat down to the time we got a bill. Just awful service. Food is about same as anywhere else.

Exceptionally slow service and mediocre food. Took several tries to get an order correct and still wasn't correct in the end.

We won a 50 dollar gift card to eat there and I would have gladly paid to eat somewhere else. Which is saying something when a meal is free. For fifty bucks you'd think you'd get enough food to at least get full. I'm a skinny person who fills up quickly and I left hungry. The service was slow service, the place was very loud and they have low quality food. Only positive is you can see the lake. The host was nice as well. I always tip btw, even for bad service, as I have worked in a restaurant before. Though they didn't earn it.

Exceptional food, equally impressive service and a complete focus on a first class experience! Impressive new swimming pool, swim up bar, sunning deck and lakeside lifestyle. My #1 choice at the Lake of the Ozarksand I live here!

Great food, drinks and service! Definitely will make this one of our go to places! We had the wings, fish sandwich-blackened and a chicken sandwich with goat cheese,avocado. Infused raspberry cocktail was excellent!
