I've eaten at this place my whole life. It's pretty much the same as its5always been and the food is great. They have great ice cream as well.

Excellent place to eat, for over 50 years Glenn's restaurant has been serving and pleasing customers at this 1960s throwback to the past. In the 1960s this was the place to dine, and still to this day it's a top choice. Definitely a favorite.

Best cheeseburgers in a four county area (Wilkes, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba just in case you were wondering). The only place whose cheeseburgers approached this level of deliciousness was Post Office BBQ #2 in Hickory, NC, and they no longer serve them. It's been my experience that when you go in a place that has been there since at least the 1960's and there are people from all walks of life, from lawyers and doctors to construction workers eating inside, you are getting ready to have a world class cheeseburger. And I have eaten cheeseburgers at restaurants all the east coast, so I should know. I once used a trip to the Apple Festival as an excuse to go to Glenn's. Just a warning, if you have the double cheeseburger with ketchup and a side of fries you will never be the same.

3/4/17 after 5pmOrdered 2 hamburgers all the way $2.40 each, 1 hotdog all the way $1.90, small fries $1.90, Large drink and strawberry milkshake We got 2 hamburgers with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Hamburgers were cold and so thin, we thought we were eating a tomato sandwich. Hotdog was fair, but not worth the price. Fries were not done, and very greasy too..had to throw them away. Milkshake was runny and had only 2 tiny pieces of strawberries in it. The large drink was a small cup. Total price for this horrible meal: $13.90 If we were not from out of town, we would have gone back and got our money back. We could have gotten a small burger from Burger King that would have tasted better then what we got! Never again will we eat at this horrible place!!!
