  I cannot emphasize how much I do not recommend this particular Gigi's location. Screwed up a large order and refused to correct their mistake. Will never use again.

  One star because I was SO EXCITED to get my friend a cupcake for her birthday & the website say's open till 9. NOPE! I got off work drove all the way across town in the rain AT NIGHT. To a closed store. Disappointed. The cupcakes are good.

  I cannot emphasize how much I do not recommend this particular Gigi's location. My wife and I selected them as a vendor for our wedding. We communicated the details of our order to Lauren (store manager) via email over half a year in advance. We were assured that our order would be ready to go at the specified time. When a family member arrived to pick up the order on the wedding day, not one single component was ready. It was over two full hours late, causing the dear family member to entirely miss out on pre-wedding events. Furthermore, the order was wrong. There were sprinkles on cupcakes that should have had none, no fruit added even though we specifically ordered it, our cutting cake was not completely frosted (and the frosting was the wrong color, although a color swatch had been dropped off 3 months prior).
  
  This complete incompetence is unacceptable from any establishment. Multiple phone calls after the wedding have not been returned by upper management. Gigis ruined my wedding day both for the family member mentioned (who drove all the way from New England to Alabama for the occasion) and for my wife, who apparently wasted her energy trying to ensure this order was taken care of well in advance. In short, I highly recommend avoiding this incompetent and dishonest location at all costs. If you are craving an over-priced, over-iced cupcake, I urge you to look anywhere other than Gigi's in Tuscaloosa

  I can tell you the BEST homemade cakes and frosting you will ever eat. I managed this location and know first hand the time and love put into ALL of their products. The team is trained in top notch kitchens to produce the highest quality of cakes, cookies, pies, cheesecakes etc. Each employee loves what they do, but it's seeing happy customers that make their jobs so rewarding.
  
  I can also tell you that Gigi's does beautiful customized wedding cakes, birthday cakes and smash cakes. They do fun gender reveal cakes and can accommodate the most beautiful and creative designs.
  
  This team will always be customer service driven because they have an owner that is always there to lead, inspire and build an exciting work environment. It truly transcends into their service.
  
  If you haven't experienced these delicious gourmet cupcakes in a long time, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!!! We only live once, and after all.I rather meet Jesus with a good taste in my mouth. ;)
