I was referred here to have some recall work done on my Fiesta. After setting an appointment for 3 PM on Tuesday and dropping my car off, I decided to look around for a bit. The repair was supposed to take three hours but they close at 6 PM, so I was content to just come back tomorrow. After not buying a new vehicle, I left the dealership and came back on Wednesday at 9 AM, two hours after the shop is open. The lady at the counter then informed me that my car hadn't even made it into the shop yet but it should be done before lunch. 5 hours later, at 2 PM I was finally given my car, and imagine my joy when all four doors actually closed and opened properly. My joy was short-lived however, as I turned on my radio to find that the after-market speaker that I had just installed on Monday had been blown. I immediately called the dealership back and was told to bring it back on Thursday. After pulling the car into the shop on Thursday I was greeted by the assistant manager and the techie who had worked on the door latches. The assistant manager acknowledged that the speaker had 'fallen out' of the car door panel when they took it off yesterday. The techie had pictures of the wiring on his personal to show as proof which I thought was a small invasion of privacy, but no big deal. The assistant manager informed me that because it was after market they could do nothing about it, and that the problem was entirely my fault. They would not even listen to the radio to hear it, and restated over and over that it was not blown, that's just how the speaker sounds. Overall 1/10 experience at this dealership and I would advise anyone needing repairs to take their vehicles to a different dealer. I have filed a complaint with Ford Customer Service.

I visited Gerald Jones Ford for service of my 2013 Escape. Eric Strickland, in the Service Bay, was very friendly and helpful (as was Shannon Saxon). Eric went out of his way to help find answers on a warranty issue. The waiting room was pleasant (clean and comfortable), and offering both coffee and water was nice for non-coffee drinkers. Everyone was very friendly. The service technician was Pete Darling. My car now sounds and runs great!

The salesman Antonio Dunn treated my wife and I with respect and did not pressure us into the sale. Antonio knew all about the F150 truck and answered all of our questions. Antonio was always there all the way through the whole buying process. The finance manager was another good one. When he spoke about his family, he made you really good and a person to trust. He was another person that did not pressure you into anything. The show room was clean, no very clean and it made you feel at home, in fact we were the very last customer to leave 3 days in one week! The sales manager Jared Gay was always open and willing to answer all of our questions. No one rushed you rushed you and they took time with you, this is just a great place to shop.

Friendly staff and a great group of people. I was working in the area and decided to visit this site to look at a truck I had seen on the internet. I ended up purchasing it and had no way to get it home as I was in a company vehicle. Glenn followed me 85 miles home and drove my trade back that evening. We didn't leave the lot till after 7pm, so I know he got home very late that evening. That is the kind of exemplary service that will earn my repeat business the next time I am in the market for a vehicle. Overall, everyone I met was a true pleasure to deal with.

Antonio was very informative and went the extra mile to help me get the car at the price I could afford. Everyone I came in contact with was very helpful and friendly.

Very rude individuals will never buy anything or use the service department at this Ford dealer again call there to get one of my Ford truck fixed because it was a F350 I had to have somebody call me back I couldn't just take it in waited 2 hours nobody called me back called there again ask for a manager got the runaround.
Makes me want to go trade my 5 Ford trucks for 5 Chevy trucks or 5 Dodge trucks
I took my truck that fairway ford. Got my truck right in. Had to make a couple stops before I got home and they called me before I got home with a update and that guy from Gerald Ford has yet to call me good thing I didn’t wait for Gerald Ford to call me back. That lets you know what they think their customers

The people answering phones need to be retrained, they were very abrupt and leave one feeling that they are bothering them. I'm going to another dealership for service because of the manner in which they spoke to me. This happened more than once, first with the initial call and then with the person in appointments. What a different experience I had with the phone call to the other dealership, They scheduled me immediately and in a very friendly and polite manner with no need to go through a second operator. Needless to say I will never go back to Gerald Jones Ford, they just lost a long time customer.

Service staff was very courteous and professional. My oil change and tire rotation was done in about 40 minutes. The waiting area is very nice and one of the managers came through handing out free snacks!

I have to honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had buying a new car. I went in with an upside down trade and they jumped through hoops and finally came up with a great deal for me. I made the mistake of going to a different dealer with my last purchase and I can tell you that will not happen again. I have already recommended them to my family and would recommend them to anybody looking for a new car. They took their time explaining everything they were doing and every step of the process. They gave me several options and helped me understand each one so that I could make an informed decision when the time came to sign on the dotted line. I can't really say anything more than they were a great group of people and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very disappointed and upset by my recent visit.
I just moved to Augusta, and my previous dealership sent me a letter for an early turn in (15 months out). I went into Gerald Jones and showed them the letter. After showing me cars I was interested in and doing the credit report (Took a whole 2 hours), the sales man ONLY THEN decided to tell me that it was just a solicitation letter just to get people into the dealership, and then gave me a ridiculous quote for a car. Why couldn't just they tell me upfront that it was a solicitation letter? This incident clearly showed me that this dealerships main concern is making money, instead of its main concern being the customers. If they had fully explained the letter upfront, I wouldn't have been so irritated as I am now.
However, because they were shady about it, I will not be coming back to this dealership for my next vehicle.

Well after shopping for weeks and talking to all the dealers in town Gerald Jones Ford by far did the best job. Troy even had a sales person bring me the truck to my work since I could not get the time to come down. Thank you for making this experience the best i have had buying trucks.

I went in because I received a flyer in the mail about trading in and possibly getting 2500 above black book value for my car. So I did my research of course before walking into the dealership. I was completely insulted after waiting for 2 hours for an appraisal they came back not only lower than what I expected but 1300 lower than "black book value" which their flyer said they go off of. They are a scam. I really hope you don't get sucked into giving them any of your time or money, oh and the paper also said I would receive a gift card which they were conveniently out of. Figures. I do want to say that the only reason this dealership didn't receive 1 star from me was because of the salesman who helped me that day because I told him I didn't want to buy a car and he didn't try to sell me one, just took care of the appraisal.

I came in to have my car's trade in value assessed and they attempted to sell me a car, I just wanted trade in value.

I was told that the credit inquiry was NOT a hard inquiry at least 3 times.

I'm looking at my credit report now and I can confirm that was a lie.

These guys were so sure that I would sign and drive on the new car that they felt it was okay to lie to me.

I was also never given my car's registration back or called to be told that it was still there in-spite of them having my contact information.

"People your age typically buy a new car every 2-3 years"

Well they won't be buying it form you.

I don't write many negative reviews. However, the dealership does need to know about some of the issues that leave a negative view with customers. A couple months ago, I waited an entire day for my car to be fixed. After I got on the road, the car almost broke down. They had to come pick me up and I waited another hour and 1/2 for them to fix it. By this time it was 4:30 and I had been there since 8AM. I was finally able to leave around 6 pm. I was not kept updated on the progress of the car throughout the entire day it was being worked on.I was not offered a discount for the trouble or a car to take home so they could keep mine and fix it properly. The car was not completely fixed afterward (it was still having the engine light turn on and a clunking In the breaks) and I have had to take it elsewhere to get seen about because I just don't have the patience to wait like that again. The complimentary shuttle and shuttle driver was the only positive about this experience.
