The GA National Fair was fun. It happens in Oct every year. Kids had a blast. Expect to spend some $$. Food and rides are not cheap. There's lots to do. It's very busy during fair time. The animals are always fun for little kids.

Lots of good memories here from the fair grounds, gun and knife shows, wild life shows, etc. I have yet to go to an event I did not like. Grounds are kept reasonably clean but it of course gets a little dirty during the National Fair which is to be expected. Layout is intuitive with the clock tower being the center of the grounds. It was always an unsaid rule that if a group splits up then everyone meets at the clock tower. Overall, great place for a family or social outing. It should be noted that there are no guard rails or ropes around the ponds but there are no alligators, keep an eye on children who wander off and can't swim.

We have stopped exhibiting our livestock when shows are on the GA National Fairgrounds. Shows are not just about winning. They are about top breeders sharing their knowledge with other breeders and the general public. We are no longer able to offer our animals/livestock for sale per GA National Fairgrounds. How can those who want to improve or those just getting started have the opportunity to purchase from reputable breeders. I am not taking about people looking for a disposble pet. These are folks who want quality along with meeting with a person who can mentor them. GA National Fairgrounds has thrown on the brakes for the growth and improvement of species in the state of Georgia. Georia has always been a leader in agriculture, not any more!

Everything was fun. We ONLY went because of Groupon. Georgia State Fair is extremely over priced. Parking fee, $5, plus $10 entrance per person, then $25 for wrist band per person to ride. Let's don't even talk about a $9 funnel cake. No crowd control on the lines. Just scattered around and teens jumping in front of line. RAP music on every dang ride, bleeps the ugly words. WOW.

Me and my family look forward for the National Fair to come to Perry, Georgia. The food is so amazing and the rides are amazing as well. I took my 2 year-old grandson and he had a wonderful time. Can't wait until next year

Great Fair! Well run and clean. Lots of free things to do. The Draft Horse Show is outstanding and it is free. If you go for the Draft Horse Show be sure to visit the barn to see the horses up close and watch them being prepared for the show. All the owners were friendly and open to questions. It goes without saying the horses are gorgeous!

I went on wristband day which is the only way I will go or you will be spending lots of money on tickets to ride. Average ride takes about 4 tickets. Seemed like some of the food vendors were offering some cheaper food prices. I seen a 2.50 food van. With several items. I really like this fair all in all.

This was an amazing day. Excellent facilities. Clean and well run. We were able to fill our day with mostly free events. Will go again. We found that there is something happening midst weekends.

This place is huge! So much goes on down here. So far my family and I have visited the grounds during a couple of their events including their Annual Fairgrounds Fair in October (So much fun! Make sure you have cash though) and their Annual Book Sale (Super Awesome!). We've also visited the Fishing Go Center (great fun too!) Best part is it's only $5 to enter and with that you get to view the exhibit and practice fishing yourself. Most of our time spent at this place is just to visit the grass grounds to take our pups for a walk/run. Still not absolutely sure if that's allowed but I've seen other dog owners take their pets to this area for the same reason. Of course please remember to pick up after yourselfs.

I have a question for anyone who attended the graduation's at the Perry Agriculture Center. Especially, for the one's that attended HOCO on Friday night. Even if you attended other graduation's and wasn't pleased in the building it was located in or how traffic was handled. I'm interested in a formal complaint towards the HCBOE and Perry Agriculture Center. Main complaint, the lights being turned out before the kids could even find their families on Friday night, people not being able to see good enough to get back to their vehicles- for the ones that aren't familiar with the area,what a security issue this could've been as well! Also, what a hot horrible experience this was in a building that was used for a graduation and how traffic direction was handled. Would anyone be interested in being on this complaint with me?
