Our family loves Gecko's. Decent food and friendly service. Good place to bring kids.

One of our favorite locals restaurants. Great food and beer. Unfortunately it is relocating to another venue after 25 years, in September.

I've been to several geckos 2 others in Sarasota & the 2 in Bradenton. But this was wasnt comparable to those. I ordered spicy honey garlic wings of which I received barbeque & some boom boom shrimp which were good but one of the items gave me food poisoning so about 30 minutes after I left the restaurant until about 4 a.m. I threw up. Staff was great & friendly, but I will not return to this particular store.

One of the restaurants that was closing late and we were happy about that because most of the places around Sarasota are closing around 9-10 pm. The Nachos were soooo good, we also ordered burito which was huge and i would not say my most fav. Beer was local but not crafted.

I am a frequent customer at Geckos at the landing. I'm there 3 or 4 times a week. Good food and service. But last night I was sitting at the far end of the bar from the entrance and saw an elderly couple having trouble getting in the door, I got out of my seat and went to assist them with the door. They requested a table and the assistant manager Becky told them all she had was high tops or they could sit at the bar. All the low tables were reserved for( trivia). Of course because the women was elderly and had a walker they said that she was unable to sit in the high tops and unfortunately I held the door for them when they couldn't be accommodated with a low table. By the way trivia hadn't even started yet. Seeing trivia is played there 3 times a week I believe a better effort could have taken to accommodate this elderly couple as wife was handicapped. My guess is Geckos lost this couple business going forward. The restaurant always is 4 to 5 stars but not in this situation.

Our server Jessica was the best! Food is always good. But Jessica made it worth it! You have a great asset to your company.
