The gator tail at this place, when lightly fried, is the best anywhere. Steel drum, and other tropical music, is relaxing and pretty view of the inlet and sailboats.

For the drinks, this place is a 5. For the food, this place is more a 2, but the staff is decent and it’s dog friendly so I’m giving it a 4.

Is it beautiful? Yes. It’s a seat yourself sort of place with a beautiful view and live music.

But the food, beware. Almost everything is frozen. The grouper, the shrimp, the burgers, everything. With the sea literally at their porch, that is insane.

The drinks are delicious and decently priced though. Every time I go, I go to drink and leave the food untouched.

VEGETARIAN CHOICES ARE VERY LIMITED. Really just come here to drink and don’t touch the food.

Food was good and not too expensive. Waterfront outdoor dining with toes in the sand and a fabulous sunset. Bayfront Park is adjacent and a nice walk. Check out the marina and yachts. Close to many attractions in Sarasota.

Not sure what everyone loves here. I don't drink alcohol so maybe that's it. The food left a lot to be desired. I was born and raised in Sarasota and had never ate here until today. The chicken was frozen and the hamburger was also frozen. The burger had no flavor whatsoever and was burnt beyond belief. Lady taking our order was rude. We waited 20 minutes for food with only like 5 tables in the whole place. 20 minutes for frozen food with no flavor. Ill say a couple good things. Obviously it has nice views being on the water and the French fries were good. But we won't return. Left a lot to be desired. As a staple restaurant of Sarasota it was a big disappointment.

If I could give them a negative star I would. How are you gonna have two order here signs and let someone stand there for over 10+ minutes and not say anything to them and then tell them to get in the other line behind a bunch of people that were defiantly not here before us but because we were in the wrong line even though the damn thing says order here. Sorry but the bold skinny blond women is rude for that!

    Worse burger I ever ate.
It was over cooked well done past well done. Very dry.
Fries were just a few and luke warm.
Waaaaay over priced for amount of food.
The Hamburgers had to be pre-cooked or sandbagged because they were done Waaaaay to fast for a over well done burger.
    The cheese wasn't even melted.
    Places sucks Never going back!

Nice location on the beachfront, but very crowded, especially in the evening. Dogs are allowed at the outdoor seating so bear that in mind when sitting outside. Decent staff. Mostly the usual American fare like burgers and chicken tenders, though, nothing tropical like you'd expect. Overall an okay place to go eat

EXCELLENT FOR TOURISTS/TROPICAL VIBES!This is such a nice place to eat! For a relaxed date, family fun, a cool drink lots of things!
If you get a seat outside there's a wonderful view of downtown Sarasota with a sunset or nighttime lights.
Dogs are welcome as well! People will often roll up in boats, tie off, and go in for some food right on the small beach. Live music on some nights as well which creates an awesome atmosphere.
Tiki torches along the beach are lit as the sun goes down as well!
Note that: Food is good, but not fine dining.
    Very recommended!

It's a great restaurant. Good food and drink prices are fairplus they have Pacifico on tap. Amazing views, kids can play at the park. Amazing views of Sarasota Bay and down town Sarasota.
