Mix a marina setting and yachts bobbing in the water with views of Sarasota Bay and you have dining perfection. Indoor or outdoor dining with fantastic food choices and great service. A touch of casual elegance.

Service was decent. Great attitudes and very friendly but also inattentive and forgetful. House salad was brown and wilted with large bitter chunks of artichoke. Grouper was recommended by the staff as local/fresh but came completely drowned in a salty cheese (?) sauce. Grouper itself was not bad at all but would be so much better possibly broiled and allowed to shine for what it is, not smothered under some mystery sauce. Key lime pie was not bad but could use a bit more lime flavor. Others at my table had the filet minon and that definitely looked amazing. Mashed potatoes were good as well. Great spot with amazing view of the bay. I’d definitely eat here again if they revamped the menu (at least the dish I ate) a bit.

Thanksgiving dinner very high prices, bad food and poor service. Gluten free dinner that was not gluten free. My daughter up ill all that night. The traditional turkey dinner warmed up hours after being plated with processed turkey for $38. Boston Market 100% better. Four tiny scallops for $40 served burnt to a crisp, but cold. And they forgot to serve the appetizer until the entrees arrived.

Marina Jack has a beautiful outdoor seating area that is right on the water. There is also the covered open air seating which has ceiling fans. Their seafood salad is amazing. The bartender was really fun to talk to and good with his drinks. I definitely recommend you checking this place out.

We are over here on holiday from the UK. We came last year and went on the lunch time cruise and absolutely loved it .so this year we decided to do the sunset cruise. I have to say I was a little disappointed .there was no commentary. The windows were really dirty and marked so couldn't really see out properly. I wanted to see the sunset. I understand they get water sprayed from the water but these windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for months. It was a chilly night and the air con in the boat was on low which made it very cold . It was warmer outside. The food was nicer on the lunch time cruise. So all in all not sure what we paid 60 dollars each for. Just a little bit more thought to make it a bit more special would work wonders. Still a good experience.

The boat cruise food was great. The restaurant there was a tad pricey for average steak or seafood. I loved the bar and live band and view at the marina though.

Beautiful view of Sarasota Bay. Good menu. Good service. Sometimes they have musical entertainment. Lots of Yachts at the marina. That whole area is dog friendly. Fun for the whole family.

Last Sunday we were on the Sunset 🌅 cruise 🚢 and it was awesome! Not so many people! There was a salat bar with a lot of everything! But, because I'm vegan I asked them before we bought the tickets, if they have anything vegan for me. They said that they have special vegan/ vegetarian menu and I can pick in the phone what o would like to eat and 👀with no extra charge . That's unbelievable! They prepared the most amazing pasta specially for me and brought it the the boat! Thank you so much!

Nice place to meet at and have a drink or two. Nice atmosphere and they have a nice little Park that walks around the whole Marina. And it has a little history behind it 😎

Worst meal we've had in six years of coming down here. Could have got better seafood at Long John Silvers. What a joke for the price, wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

Great experience. Great for a date night. Steak & Fish always good (they have Salmon and Sea bass regularly but they also always have a 'special' which is probably seasonal fish dish.). The best way to park is to valet, its free valet parking (tips are obviously expected/appreciated) - other parking is a short walk away; but its long when dressed up fancy since its a fancy place (upstairs). There is a downstairs more casual dining experience but I've never been but imagine similar food and everything is good. I don't think there is a dress code for the 2nd floor; but its business casual to suit is standard I suggest Googling "Sunset", which will give you the current sunset time for that day and make reservations 30-45 minutes prior to that. This is in my top 5 restaurants in Sarasota, FL - and I've lived here my whole life.

If you don't go here you're just missing out. There are two parts of the restaurant to accommodate everyone. Starting with downstairs, which is much more casual. You can go anytime for some amazing food, music entertainment, and of course, a GREAT view of the water and lots of boats. The price is less downstairs than upstairs. Upstairs is a little more formal, however there is no dress code (so if you want a nice steak but you were just at the beach technically you're still good). I just ate upstairs with my family yesterday and the food was EXCELLENT. Everyone found something that they wanted and everyone loved everything, and trust me we're a tough crowd. Then for dessert, I was literally fending off my mom to not eat mine. It was so good. We got to watch the sunset over the water through the big windows. Also there was an elevator so grandma could make it up. It was quite pricey but other than that, everything was wonderful. I can't wait to go back next week before prom! I highly recommend!

Seriously not worth the price tag. It is pretty but they need to spend some energy on the kitchen staff. The wait staff was great. Everything was just okay. My halibut special came out dry and the stone crabs weren't started for you like at Joe'Stone Crab in Miami so that you could eat it quickly. The mashed potatoes were dry and just okay in terms of flavor. The short ribs were excellent. I might try downstairs where it is more casual next time.
