Very friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Great place to park and take the trolley into Gatlinburg.
Very friendly staff. Lots of information about the area and lots of maps. They even have a nice gift shop.
Welcome centers in this area are a thing. Love these stops. Such a great selection to help support the area. Very good information here too.
Can find maps for driving and hiking. The workers are very helpful. They have one of a kind items for sale and the " I went to the Smokies " items. Very helpful place to visit if you are not sure where you want to go in the smokies, what to see.
Gatlinburg is small and pedestrian friendly. Park your car here and ride the shuttle. It's way less hassle than trying to find parking in Gatlinburg after 8:00a.
I am a disabled veteran, I entered the welcome center to try to find out if there was and water falls in the area that could be enjoyed by a disabled person, I approached the counter and picked up a one dollar brochure on waterfalls I had it for less than a minute and one of the employees rushed over and got in my face because I was looking at it to see if it had the information in it I needed. I told her what information I was trying to obtain, she advised that she did not know and referred me to a elderly man she said was bored. I felt totally disrespected at which point I decided to go elsewhere other than Gatlinburg to spend my money.
Going to the Welcome Center was an awesome experience they have everything you need there to figure out where you want to go and what you want to do they also have items for sale and I think I got my favorite item this year it is a magnet that has Smokey the Bear on it and says only we can prevent wildfires I ended up getting several of those for family the Smoky Mountains is our favorite place in the world to go on vacation their store at The Welcome Center was so clean well kept and there were people there to help you if you needed anything at all
Love going here each time. We visit the smokies. Has very good local artisan selection of merchandise and friendly staff
MY experience is always wonderful in Gatlinburg. The scenery is breathtaking. There is so much to do, for everyone. Great for a family vacation!
Clean restrooms. They charge for the map on which the Ranger shows you directions to the National Forest.
At least it was only $1.00. As a taxpayer, I'm fine with that. But tell me up front. And what if I declined after all the writing and marking points of interest is done. Waste of tax dollars.
Great friendly place to get maps and information on Gatlinburg and Smokey. Mountain National park. Informative museum too.
Awesome place. Staff are very knowledgeable. Gift shops are great. Lots of vacation planning ideas.
A good free welcome center. Has good brochures and clean restrooms. Also a small souvenirs shop.
