Very informative visitor center and a good place to learn about the cove. Cades Cove is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful scenery, many historic buildings and churches. If you are lucky you will be able to spot some elks. I have traveled the 11 miles by bike and it was fun. There are also many interesting trails in the cove.

Really interesting place, the old cabins, Mail, and churches were great. The single lane road loop was definitely an aggravation, lots of back ups. Kids had a great time. Definitely going back

Cade cove scenic loop is awesome, a lot to see we really enjoyed, at least you will spend 2-3hr, I recommend bring plenty snacks and water and nice shoes. Highly recommended, it is free

I've come here for years. The Cades Cove loop is wonderful as we have seen wild turkeys, bear, deer, elk, wolf and coyote here over the years. We always stop at the visitor center, as it is always well staffed with courteous people and the souvenir selection is nice. Lots of cool history, historic buildings, etc. make this a must-see when you visit the area.

The Cade's Cove Visitors Center is the halfway point on Cades Cove Loop Road. My family and I stopped here. When I saw that this was the only bathroom in Cade's Cove, that was where I went because I was needing one. This was also where the Cable Mill was at. There is a book talking about all of the places in Cade's Cove for $1, so my parents bought me one. The visitors center has souvenirs and homemade jams and jellies. My dad was wanting to buy some apple butter, but he saw it was $16 a jar. Before we continued on the tour, I bought a one liter bottle of Great Smokies Spring Water, which was $1.50. The visitors center is definitely worth stopping at.

Highly recommend taking this ride. Stop at the first little pull and spend a dollar for the book. It tells all the history of the stops along the way. Be prepared to spend more than 2-3 hours if you stop and explore all the stops. Some are half mile off the road. We saw a momma and 3 bear cubs the day we went. Also, only pull off where you can. Do not create your own spot. We watched a person smash in her front end. :-(

Nice little area to stop. Nothing much but does have a few of the hold houses and barns with a mill you can visit.

You've not been to Cade's Cove yet? WHY? Go! Go either early in the morning or late in the afternoon - best time to see bears. The best time to avoid heavy traffic is early morning. Visit churches, cemeteries and the only operating grist mill in the park!

Great place to stop while making the loop around! Bathrooms and shaded areas made it perfect for a picnic lunch spot.

This visitors center represents about half way through the Cades Cove Loop. Great place to take a break stretch your legs. Facility also has a bathroom which is a great feature. There are some out buildings there that a family can explore. We always stop here when we are going through Cades Cove.

A great place to stop and see some excellent examples of history and how skilled our Great grandparents really were at crafting homes and tools from the materials they had available. They were recycling before any one knew what that was. Just look at the cool horse shoe hinges on the Blacksmith shop door if you don't believe me.
