An old Holiday Inn with hints of it's former reliability, but going downhill fast! The room options are non-smoking, full bed, with balcony. Or, king, smoking room, no balcony.
Small towels. Dirty carpets. Hair in bathroom and on comforter.
Provides some basic toiletries at the desk. Toothpaste, toothbrush, extra towels. Ice and sometimes working soda/snack machines on every floor. Coffee maker that didn't work. So bring your own.
Cheap rates! $60.00! Late check out! Which was nice. After 12 pm the maids knocked for the first time.
Bed was comfy. But I did worry about overall sanitary conditions as the evening passed.
I think it's for sexual trysts, and or unaware, New York tourists on a budget.
For what it is, better than average.

Room was unkempt in various ways around the room. An unidentified mess above the light switch at the entrance of the room, another unidentified mess in and throughout the bathtub, business chair falling apart, exposed wiring from the air conditioning unit. One of the elevators was stuck in the second floor with the door halfway open for two whole nights. Neighbors played disruptively loud music for about 14 straight hours starting at 2300 hrs. Called the front desk to make a complaint. Desk assured us they would call the room and send someone up to speak to the inhabitants. The music never stopped. Staff seemed friendly and amicable, but when asked for assistance offered no results. Try your luck if you'd like, we are not visiting again.

Overall, the 2nd worst American hotel in which I've ever stayed. It was/is advertised as a 3-star hotel; excepting the adequately comfortable mattress, I saw no sign of anything warranting anything above a 1-star rating. Cigarette smoke permeates everything. A really depressing experience.

I'd say that you get what you pay for, but. . . I've stayed in nicer, better maintained accommodations that were less expensive. Even though there was trash on my balcony, a cracked toilet seat, faucet hanging from the wall, and a broken security latch I'm giving the place 2 stars.

One Star, because the staff was absolutely the best. Friendly and helpful. The other Star is because the drawings in the dirt on the balcony's sliding glass door made me laugh.

Morning staff was swearing, playing loud rap music and not formal at all. And the hotel itself is mediocre at best. But it gets the job done for a quick overnight stop. You get what you pay for.

Location was ok. Hotel was old, dirty and run down. The beds were horrible/uncomfortable, and the Linens were dirty. The 1st room we entered was short lived, due to multiple bugs surrounding the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. They ended up moving us to another room. Had to make the best of it for the next two nights. Safe to say the wife was not pleased. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars.

We booked online and paid $5 so that we could pay cash upon check-in. We arrived in the evening to find out that they had charged our card because their policy is to charge all cards after 6pm (In case of no shows). The hotel and rooms are a bit dated but in decent order. Our room was fairly quiet and was clean. For the price and location this was a much better option than New York for twice the cost.

I wasn't very happy with this place at all. To start off I booked a room online and when I got there I was standing at the front desk for ten minutes while two of the employees looked at me then went back to doing what ever they were doing and just made me stand there. The the girl told me I had to pay a $50.00 deposit mind you the website didn't say anything about a deposit. So now I go up to my room and as soon as I walk in I hear the toilet running and it was loud that I had to close the bathroom door. Then I was trying to go to sleep and all I heard coming from another room people having sex. Also the sheets on the bed had stains on them. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! I GIVE THIS PLACE 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

PS. They didn't even have the room I booked either!!!!!!!!! I just love how the pictures make the place look good when it's not!!!

I made the reservation and cancelled it like three days later. It was advertised as "Free cancellation" and yet I was still charged $86.25. I have been calling and leaving messages for the manager to return my call so we can figure things out. Still have heard nothing! So far, I am less than impressed! Manager is never around. They don't return calls. Staff, when I call, is not very helpful. Extremely quiet so you can barely hear them. I'm never booking with the place again. I'll spend the extra money and go else where.

This hotel is very poor, very dirty. Front desk staff attitude is very rude , very un respect the guests. We 4:00 to stay. We called an hour before to confirm that the double bad room, but when we came they gave us a single bed. Also said that we are with the early morning staff confirmed the room for us is not her fault she do not have responsibility at all. After we went in to the room. Saw the bed was the dirty, and told the front desk to change the cover of the bed, but the hotel only send a staff to drop the sheets, and tell us to change by our own. What service they provide for the guests? This is the worst hotel we stay so far

A dirty place. The worst hotel ever

Both the hotel and the rooms are dirty. The AC/heater wasn't working. The guy at reception was very rude and reluctant to answer questions. It takes 7 minutes for him to find us our booking. I had to check out after 4 hours because of the room conditions. You can smell the cigarette smoke everywhere.
Don't waste your money and time to go here. It's awful.

I have never stayed in a hotel with such hostile front desk. When I called the front desk to let them know that I had left my coat and wanted to come back and get it , before I could finish my sentence, the girl working there impatiently said: you have to call back tomorrow saying only the manager and house keeping manager can help me even though it says the hours of work are from 9 to 11pm , and there's nothing I can do for you. When I asked for her name and the number to the manager she tell me I don't need to know her name and that NJ was under a state of emergency, which I found out was already lifted the day prior and still did not give me any info that would helped. Her attitude and tone sounded cold and indifferent , and she offered nothing but rudeness in resolving this matter. Even hanging up on me when I told her that she was lying about the state of emergency and it had already been lifted if I could give zero stars I would.

I had a last minute change where I had to check in a hotel. I was recommend the Holiday Inn in Saddle Brook. Turns out that Garden Plaza took it over. I'm 19 and many of the hotels around here require you to be 21 to check in. The desk manager, Igor I believe, was so helpful and kind. He saw how distraught I was and gave me a room with the Tripadvisor discount. The room is nice and it's in a decent distance to the places I need to go to. I would definitely stay here again.
