  Don't let your kids swim there, three kids attacked my 7 year old he nearly drowned. The life guards did nothing about it. I went to the manager he did nothing about it.

  Love this place. Staff are wonderful. Lot of amenities. They care about the whole community. Love the diversity which is typical of Gahanna. Extensive hours to make it easier to find the right time to go. Good for people of all ages.

  That's easy. I'll tell anyone, "If you want to see the world, join the YMCA." The mix of people is rich with cultures from all over the world, all sharing the singularity of purpose that is parenting. Muslim ladies in full garb on the exercise machines and in the pool. Children from all over the globe playing and interacting with my own. People who belong to the YMCA belong to the planet, and our commonality binds us.
  
  You can't beat the price for all you receive. Excellent, qualified instructors, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and classes in everything from aerobics to babysitting training. I sign my girls up for every applicable class (swim, gymnastics, babysitting, CPR, et. al.), and I myself re-certified in CPR and signed on for a class in proper swim strokes (I can see the bottom moving past me much faster now!).

  I am enrolled in an Enhanced Fitness Silver Sneakers class and am very pleased with it. The instructor, Kara, is very good. When we have had subs, they have been good teachers as well. I'm very happy with the Y.

  This gym is pretty great for what you pay for. There can be some times where the gym is quite busy, but I can always find the equipment I need to use. The pool is also really great and it is nice that there is an outdoor one.

  The outdoor pool is nice in the summer because it's shallow enough for my 2-year-old to stand in (he loved that) and it's fenced in so I don't have to worry about him running to the big pool. There's also a splash area which is nice during rest breaks. The classes are fun and the free child care is nice but my kids always got sick after going so sadly we canceled our membership.
