"Guacamole to delight the heart and the palate" I was invited to have dinner, late notice, I chose to join, but I had eaten. The party coming from out of town, got lost, in the twist and turns of the road. I walked in order some coffee, and waited, the table next to me ordered "Guacamole" ummm looked great! I wasn't hungry..but it did look scrumptious. I ordered it and as I watched the gentleman prepare it with just what I wanted. Wow! it was fantastic. The ambiance is great and the service fabulous.They would have a five star if I would be singing,

New Mexican restaurant that will make guacamole to order at your table if you order it. Chips and salsa are brought to your table to munch on while waiting for your food (at no charge-so many places now charge for that). Delicious dishes, good service, a large menu to choose from, and a nice atmosphere. Outdoor dining is available during warmer weather.

Really good service, Orlando was on top of everything. The menu selection is also good, something for everyone. My wife and I recommend this place hands down.

We love this place! Be sure to get the tableside guacamole, so you can have it made just the way you like it. Warm, cozy and homey. The food is great and so is the service. It's like going to eat at the home of a good friend.

SO DELICIOUS! The guacamole is reason enough to go. The whole meal was terrific and the service was wonderful.
**Update**
Unfortunately, since my first trip to Gabriel's I have had 3 mediocre experiences in a row. On one trip I took my visiting family thinking that it would be a nice experience only to have a rude waiter and a struggle getting vegetables rather than beans and rice for my aunt. The manager did not want to give vegetables despite me saying i would gladly pay for them and was almost argumentative about it as well, claiming that vegetables are "extremely expensive." 🤔
The other two times the quality of the food was just kind of average.
I almost wish I had only gone once. That first time was great, especially in comparison to the subsequent visits.

This was my second visit to Gaberial. My first experience was great. But today's was not! The hostess was nice she sat us on the table against the wall where the painting of the Virgin Mary hung. We waited for 15 minutes to get waited on, no one came to offer us even a glass of water!! I got off my chair to tell the hostess that we have not been waited on, when all of a sudden..a waiter appeared and said to me, "hi, I'm your waiter !" During the whole time we were there, he did not cared to stop by our table to check on us, give us the tab, etc..we stood up to pay for the meals at the register cause we were tired of waiting for the waiter to show up at our table! And as we approached the register, all of a sudden the waiter shows up! Bad service! Low tip! I hope the waiter reads this and start improving his service!

Visited here on Sunday night to start off a business trip through New Mexico. Definitely a home run. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but inside the decor was tastefully done in the local style, the food was out of this world and the whole staff genuinely appeared to like what they were doing. Kudos to the Management and Staff! A must if you're looking for the hometown flavor and atmosphere on your next trip through Santa Fe.

Food was excellent! Compliments to the Chef. Our waiter however, I have no words. An older gentleman who has no business in the service industry. We were definitely a bother to him for even coming in to the restaurant. It's a shame because all the other servers seemed pleasant. Ours rolled his eyes, sighed at us and had such a look of contempt. I'm pretty sure he did not like us. We have always been good guest who respect our servers. We did not behave any differently here.

The best Mexican restaurant in an area that has many Mexican places to eat. Great decor. Service was attentive and not obtrusive. This was our second time eating here and have experienced consistent, quality dining.

Great atmosphere, snappy service and well made authentic Southwest food. We were here during our vacation in the area and I was very impressed. We sat outside on a beautiful mild day and had a wonderful time. The prices were a tad high, but given the surroundings it was worth it! Recommended if you're in the area!

OMG, what a wonderful place to eat. The food was out of this world. It's on the edge of town but WELL WORTH the trip. We had about 12 folks with us and sat at a large round table in a round room. It was SO cool. Again the food was fantastic.

Absolutely amazing!! Food was delicious, ambiance was 2nd to none. Wait staff was incredible. Can't wait to come back for more. Oh, and ORDER THE GUAC!!!!

Very good food. Down from a 4-4.5 because serving sizes have been reduced noticeably over last year to year and a half but prices increased! We still go but much less frequently.

We were not impressed. If you are NOT a chili fan, or like it really mild, then this might be the place for you. Nothing "authentic" that I could figure out. Most employees seem to be helpful and nice though.

The most amazing gourmet Mexican/Hispanic style food I've ever tasted. I had sweet potato enchiladas - a bit of the beaten track of standard fare. Don't miss the fresh guacamole made right at your table. Everything was yummy! Friendly and professional service. Reasonably priced for the quality. Lovely outdoor patio seating is available, weather permitting. Plenty of parking.
