The staff and drinks are great, but the food was so-so. While the pasta was cooked perfect, the chicken in it had an odd texture. Highly recommend their wines and service. It's possible the kitchen was just having an off day.

Very hit or miss here. Been here several times and usually get the steak. Today it came overcooked and tough as leather. Waitress saw I wasn't happy and said she'd bring me another. Was back literally two minutes later with a seared rare steak. No exaggeration, completely uncooked. Is there no in between? Second time this had happened to me here, you'd think I'd learn but the wine is good.

I cannot say enough in praise for this restaurant. They are already and have been for many years one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. Last nights experience is a testament to just how much this place cares about patrons. I had plans to have dinner at another restaurant with a group of 12 friends in old town. I had made reservations a week before and the restaurant we went to was not only rude when we checked in but went so far as to tell us our reservation should not have been accepted for that group. Upset and insulted because they couldn't even guarantee us a table, I called St. Clair in hopes that maybe they could get us in on a Friday night. I called the restaurant and the hostess spoke to the manager and said it would be an hour but she could assure us we would get a table. We walked from old town to the restaurant and checked in. While we were getting wine and beer at the bar as we waited the hostess called our name for a table. This was less than twenty minutes after our arrival. Not only was the food wonderful and the service amazing but the restaurant went above and beyond to take care of my dinner party in light of what had happened. Thanks to this and many other wonderful experiences here, I will always and forever be a patron of St. Clair.

The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious and made as ordered. They have one of the best in house selection of wines in town and their staff is superb. If you haven't tried St. Clair winery & bistro you should!

Horrible customer service and hair in food! From the moment we walked in we were disregarded by the hostess staffthat should've been the first sign. Then when we mentioned that there was a hair embedded in my food, the manager explained that it looks more like a fiber from clothes. Yet, he made no effort to try to correct the situation. You present a plate with anything but food on it and I don't believe it's unreasonable to expect some sort of compensation. The rest of the entrees were served cold but at this point we figured there was no point in mentioning it. They've lost 6 couples who will not return because of poor customer service and leadership.

There's a reason why this place is rated so highly on TripAdvisor. It's because it is really really great. The outside patio is awesome and it is dog friendly if you have your pet on a leash. The wines are sweet but really good and they do have a selection of dry wines as well. The food was fantastic. I have nothing else to say. See for yourself. I loved it.

The food was amazing as always, however service was below sub par. It took 20 minutes for anyone to come acknowledge us and that was just to say I would right with you. 10 minutes later a gentleman came to ask us if we had been helped. He took charge and became our waiter. For the price, I would expect better service.

We were staying at the Best Western across the street and were happy to hear St. Clair did to-go orders. We ordered the flat iron steak and the macaroni and cheese with chicken. OMG, the mac and cheese was outstanding! The flat iron was good but not great. We had ordered it medium/ medium rare and it was medium. Slightly tough. Tasty but wish it was more rare. When we picked up the food, the place looked like a great place to go to and sit on their patio with live music. We highly recommend this place.

Decided to take my mother out for something a little fancier than usual. I heard great things about st Clair's and gave it a shot. The wine and food was amazing for the cost. Ivan was our waiter and made the experience great! He knew about the wines and made recommendations which ended up being amazing. I've been back twice since and always ask for Ivan not only for his knowledge of wines but he made the evenings so much better. Highly recommend St Clair's.

Went here on a date and had some of the best food and wine I'd had in a really long time. Atmosphere is incredible and my server Ivan provided some of the best customer service ever brought all my food and drinks out fast never let my water get empty had some great suggestions and seemed legitimately happy to be serving me. Definitely will be going here again and will always ask for Ivan. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Great food and wine. You can even buy the wine singularly or in bulk in the small wine shop in the front of the restaurant. The place is cozy, clean and the outdoor patio is awesome! It is a little pricey but well worth it!

I took my wife here and we will definitely be going back. The service was great and Ivan was very knowledgeable of the wine as well as the menus. We tried his suggested entrées and the chefs did a phenomenal job as well. I recommend this place for sure.

I've come here for years for the food, wine and atmosphere. Today they went above and beyond and were able to seat 21 people in a private room with an 1.5 hour notice. They flawlessly sat us, took our order and served us. They were engaging and efficient and made our evening spectacular. The food as always was superb and perfectly cooked and presented. I cannot recommend St. Clairs enough for either a time out with friends or a large event.
