I spent over $2000. Since September my new tires made the car vibrate. No one could fix it. I bought new wheels, Bilstein struts and shocks, wheel bearings, CV joints, ball joints, power steering pump, 7 times were my tires balanced, 3 times was the car aligned. Vibration would only get worst or back to the original level per every job. Couldn't drive past 55MPH too long without steering wheel and entire car numbing vibration, well, my daughter liked it, she would fall sleep as she got massaged. Lol. Until G&C did their mount match and forced wheel balance. My car drives like a new car, it's so smooth on the highway at any speed. I can't believe I'm driving on the same wheels and tires that for months no mechanics could figure out besides recommending new wheels and tires..again. G&C gave me before and after road forced variation numbers and wow, what a difference. NTB, Mr. Tire, and 2 independent shops couldn't figure it out. Thank you to the guys at G&C. Their customer service is honest and straight to the point. I recommend this place to anyone like me tired of bad customer service and low quality work. Spend the money on quality tires next time. Your vehicle comfort and safety depends on it.

I understand price gouging and all, but WOW! So, I get a quote for parts and labor on my cars brakes after getting it inspected from G&C. I just thought to myself that the price sounds a bit high, so I call my trusted shop that I would normally go to but for now it is much further away.

My shop quotes me a HUGE difference and he said when he was looking up the price for my vehicle that man your going to croak when you get the difference on what we will offer you for your brake system. I said what are they trying to gouge me?

I just wanted to make sure that there prices weren't to far off or too high, but I suspected they were a little high. The end result of my findings is that that G&C wanted to charge me 840 dollars more than what my shop quoted me.

That isn't a huge difference nor is it gouging. That's a total game changer in the market of gouging. I mean with this type of tactics that like trying to save up for a Lambo or Ferrari or even early retirement. Geesh, well glad I didn't get sucked up in this money making bonanza.

Interesting enough that I also read a few other bad reviews and I actually experienced the lug nut situation on my other vehicle that someone else mentioned that I bought to them before but said never mind it for now because that was adding up quickly to be more money. I just don't understand the practice.

Now I have to go elsewhere to get my vehicle fixed because it wasn't a matter of a tank of gas or even a difference in going out to a nice restaurant for the night. We are talking a difference of going out and buying 3 new PlayStation 4's and still have some money left over to buy a few games difference in price.

They totally charged me almost double by separating the rear labor from the front labor in cost. I'm floored and I was just getting comfortable with coming there for small things like oil changes and what not. Not anymore.

The owner, Gregg, is all about providing a great customer experience. It starts with a rigorous hiring process to find exceptional people. Couple that with their expertise and all of the amenities (e.g. loaner car, free wifi, coffee, snacks, etc.) and you'd have to ask yourself why you'd go anywhere else.

In terms of getting a safety inspection, don't believe all of the positive reviews. I had the exact same scenario happen to me as all the others: Over charged on parts and making up non-existent problems with my car. This is the first time in my life that a place with such high reviews was so misleading.

I was told my car's headlights were out of aim (which they were not), my rear brake shoes and drums needed to be fixed, front sway bar end links "have play," and that I had an exhaust leak from my muffler. My rear brake drums were perfectly fine as well as my front sway bar end links and my muffler. The only thing that needed to be fixed was the rear brake shoes. They then proceeded to charge me hundreds of dollars for parts that aren't even over $50. I'm sure they saw me as a gullible guy and someone who doesn't know anything about cars otherwise they have a lot of nerve to lie through their teeth.

Their comfy waiting rooms and positive reviews are all a front just so they can sucker people in to getting ripped off. If you don't believe me, just do this: Get an estimate from them on how much it will cost to get parts to fix your car. Swing by Advanced, Auto Zone, etc. and then get a quote from them and see for yourself just how much they are willing to rip you off.

A friend recommended G&C and by far, it’s been one of my better decisions regarding car repairs. No hassle, straightforward, professional, and friendly service at its finest. I have recommended G&C to friends and family and will absolutely return to them for any car troubles.

Three years ago I traveled to northern VA with my sick mom and a highmile Honda for a weeklong work event. It was an 8 hour ride through unfamiliar territory ending with the start of an epic snowstorm that left me stranded at the hotel the entire next day (first day of the event). No worries - we had all week, right? The second day I went out to my car to go to work, only to find one completely flat tire and one that was pretty soft. The hotel recommended G&C and I am so glad they did. G&C did find yet another problem on another tire, but they fixed me up with minimal expense, AND gave me a loaner to get to work. The tires they fixed and replaced passed inspection right up until I traded the car last year.
I couldn't recommend these folks any more highly. They really were life savers for them that week.

My tire blew out on Rt. 95 and I lucked out getting G&C to come out and tow my car - during rush hour! They were all so nice, very helpful and super efficient! I really appreciate their good work!

Took my Corvette there to get tires put on and an alignment. Was not told they needed to road test it (without me there) but no big deal when I found that out; figured it takes a quick up the road and back to make sure everything is up to spec. Checked my trip odometer and it had ~16 more miles on it than when I dropped it off. My MPG calculator was registering 15.4 mpg when I picked it up. It was registering in the mid 17's when I dropped it off. The nipples on the rear tires were worn off and the front ones were still there suggesting there was some rear wheel spinning. Not sure why you need to put 16 miles on a car to make sure the alignment is good.

I called ahead and was told the service would take 1-1.5 hours so I figured I would just stay there. When I arrived to drop the car off, I was told it would take half a day so I left the car with them against my better judgement. Other than that the guys were polite, down to earth, and accommodating but I don't plan on leaving any of my vehicles with them unsupervised in the future.

G&C is a great outfit. I used to run an automotive shop which provides me with a much different perspective than if I were unfamiliar with the industry. The staff is top notch. The check-in and waiting area are always clean, comfortable and inviting. Most importantly, I have never had any issues with my vehicles, regardless of the service. They thoroughly check the vehicle during every visit and provide honest recommendations based on their findings. I highly recommend G&C for any repair or scheduled service.

1st time at this place and the experience was excellent no complaints whatsoever. They have multiple waiting areas with some free drinks and snacks which was awesome. Great experience considering it wasn't my first choice but definitely will be next time.

    Great, friendly service!
In the autumn of 2016, I hit the curb of a sidewalk and consequently blew a tire. I took my car in to G & C Tire and Auto Service. They replaced the tire that blew. Everyone there was very friendly and warm. I was happy that they were able to tell me that one of my other tires was not the proper size for my vehicle and so they replaced that tire as well. I thought the fee for the service was very reasonable. I had a pleasant experience at G & C while waiting for my car to be repaired. They have many beautiful waiting rooms. The rooms are on the small side, so they feel cozy. I enjoyed being able to watch a large-screen TV and being able to adjust the channel and volume with a remote control, and also being able to charge my iPhone since they had an iPhone charge in the waiting room I was in. They also had many interesting magazines. I also enjoyed the free refreshments: coffee, soft drinks, donuts, etc., while I was watching TV. When my car was ready, they were able to tell me about other issues with my car. I asked if I had done any other damage to the car by hitting the curb. They said they had checked for other damage from hitting the curb but didn’t see any. They said my windshield wipers were frayed and should be replaced.
