I needed an auto shop with the following criteria:
1. Nearby work
2. Willing to drop me off and pick me up from the office so I don't need to take time off from work.
2. Reasonably priced ( I expected to be charged more )
3. Courteous, friendly, caring
4. Quick appointment setting (not a lot of wait time)
5. No up-selling
Dulles Auto Clinic is exactly what I was looking for. Wonderful staff, wonderful owner, honest work, so far I love it.response / report this review -

These guys are honest and do great work, which is unfortunately a hard combination to find. Not only do they do preventative maintenance on my car without creating or finding unnecessary repairs, but they are my trusted advisors I turn to when I need recommendations for body work. I have used their recommended body shops and been very happy with that work also.

We've been Dulles Auto customers for over 20 years. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful staff. They are HONEST, never try to up-sell, and we can always count on them to complete a job well and on time. Rob was extremely helpful when we were purchasing our teenager a previously owned car. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I see he got his friends to review this place but this place in reality is a BIG RIP OFF! VERY CROOKED AND DISHONEST! Be aware if you don't know about cars they will take advantage of you I would suggest going else where. Took my 2006 Taurus there came out with a bill for $2000 they said the back breaks need to be replaced and the cost$800 just the back breaks i thought to my self its a ford it's not a 2017 Bentley the break pads better be made out of gold lol they tried to scare me by saying the tires are ready to come off I commute 120 miles everyday nothing wrong with it he tried to tell me you know that shake when you drive I thought to my self what shake also told me there was a leak there was no leak. Anyway took it else where the car was perfectly fine just let you compare I had the timing belt water pump and alternator done for $750 under the price of what it would cost to do just the breaks there lol these guys are the reason why mechanics get a bad rap typical.

Great shop! Took my truck trying to get it to pass emissions. Ended up being a more involved repair than I initially thought, but that's life with a 12 year old vehicle! Dulles Auto Clinic did a great job, and I felt they did an accurate assessment of the problems and did only what was needing to be done. Very pleased with the service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others in the area.

This shop is fantastic compared to a lot of the other local shops. I WAS questioning one of the repairs they suggested, because I had it at another shop the day before and they didn't mention the broken bulb in their inspection. They took me back and had the broken bulb still and I checked it myself and at the end of the day I actually believe that the other place was just that incompetent with their inspect and service that they missed the light. For good faith they didnt charge me for the bulb and I changed it myself back to the good bulb. The guy at the desk took it a little personal that I questioned the bulb in the first place but from my point of view it was a little strange to have it go out within a 10 mile drive. I highly recommend coming to these guys and get a fair appraisal of your car's repair needs.

I've been taking my cars here for 23 years and have never been disappointed in their workmanship or pricing. They give you the ground truth on what needs to get done and advice on what can wait for a bit longer if you need to stretch out the costs. An honest mechanic is a godsend.

Went for a state safety inspection and had a positive experience. Staff seemed laid back but professional. Was in and out fairly quickly. Got a free calendar as well.

Very pleased with my experience here today. Staff (Wayne especially) was highly professional and was thorough with explaining services offered and services needed. In addition, they went out of their way to accommodate my transportation while my vehicle was being serviced etc. It's difficult to find a trusted shop and to feel comfortable with a first visit when you're less knowledgeable about vehicles in general like myself, however, this shop made that happen. I will be returning for future services for sure.
