Must try the house Margarita. Tis place can be overlooked if not careful. A smaller store front than most from the main Hwy 111. However inside is big and spacious. Service friendly, attentive and fast. Food excellent and the prices are very competitive. This is a must visit.
This place is AMAZING! I'm a chef from las Vegas and I can tell you we don't have Mexican food this good for this price with this atmosphere. Had a combination plate and when I say EVERYTHIG was delicious I mean the beans, the rice, guacamole even the lettuce was crisp fresh. 10/10
Ever time we visit Palm Desert Fresh Agave is a must go. I'd eat hear daily. The chips are warm and crisp, and the salsa is fresh and spicy. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend the enchiladas, but you really can't go wrong here. The cocktails are also top notch. Hands down the best restaurant in Palm Desert.
first dining experience this season and things were very different from past years.Cadillac Margaritas not as good, new menu and higher prices, crispy chicken tacos and chili rellenos not the same. they must have a new chef, possibly new owner? not nearly as good as in the past. very disappointing!
Food was decent but over priced. Think they charge about $4 extra just because of the location.
I'd expect something better for $18 a plate.
You can't go wrong dining here! Great good. Highly recommended it
It was very busy here when we were here. This was a bit surprising since it was off season for the area. Based on the crowds, I expected service to be slow. However, things were delivered pretty quickly. The staff was friendly. The food was good. The churros were pretty good but there are many so it is a shareable dessert. I would go again when in the area. We went due to a local recommendation. Just be aware that apparently it is always busy and parking can be a challenge.
Location: We were recommended by our concierge at The Westin Villas and was a quick, traffic-free drive from our hotel.
Service: We were seated right away and our server was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, which made it easier for us to readily order. Other servers in the restaurant were also a great help and in a very good mood, often making jokes and being outgoing, which made the environment very relaxed and welcoming.
Food: We ordered the Taco Fiesta, which serves 2-VERY hungry people, because there was MORE than enough food for 2. All the meats were exquisite and cooked to tenderness perfection. Food came out very fast, which also helps if you're hungry.
For dessert we enjoyed a flan, which was very sweet and tasteful.
Overall a great dining experience for our first night in CA and giving more truth to the sign in the restaurant that reads on your way out, "See you tomorrow", which couldn't be anymore spot on.
Down right the best chicken tacos we have ever had!
Service was fantastic! Our new favorite spot. The margaritas were really strong and delicious too.
Liked the quesadillas and black beans. Service was good, not excellent but good. My margarita was way too strong, a good problem to have. The mojito was excellent. The tacos were good.
Absolutely the best Mexican food that I have found in year's. One totally cool thing is that they mix/prepare your guacamole at your table.
Great food, great vibes, great baños. Margaritas are strong! A sweet spot with outdoor misters. Their salsa is my favorite in town. Order the Fajita Burrito (chicken & steak mix) smothered in cheese sauce.. you won't be disappointed
Great service & great food, much better than Armando's around the corner. Nice ambience and plenty to leave you feeling satisfied. Friendly servers & happy that we came to this place instead of the poor service you get at Armando's.
