My friend is on the third battery of only a five-year-old car. The Interstate battery is supposed to be a 7-year battery. He barely got 2 1/2 years. The dealership has a full replacement up to two years. I contacted Bill, the Service Manager, I explained that my friend has been a loyal customer, he bought this car new from their dealership, and has his service and required maintenance with them as well. After Bill and I spoke and he was made aware of the situation, he was kind and did not charge my friend on this replacement, when he actually could have. I recommend them, as they care about their customers!

I sold my Volvo C30 to Fred Anderson Toyota. The process was painless, transparent, and easy. The staff was accommodating and helpful. I received my offer price for my vehicle, and the whole process was complete within an hour.

I sold a vehicle to Fred Anderson Toyota. I spoke with Dave on the phone and he set the expectations of what to expect when I go too the dealership. Dave was extremely thorough and quick. I had an excellent experience with him and everyone at the dealership. I would recommend him to anyone!

Our associate, Dave S., was exceptionally professional. He asked what we wanted and what the dealership offered. We were pleased with the timeline, price, customer service and additional efforts to go beyond the normal dealership. We will consider going to this location again.

Came to drop my car off for routine maintenance and they were able to get it taken care of on the spot so that I didn't have to leave and be without a car! Stacy, who works in the service department knows the meaning of customer service! Give that guy a raise! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made us feel right at home and he saved me time and hastle! Very pleased with the service I received! Highly recommend!!

Changed my review from 1 Star (was not pleased with sales department) bought a certified preowned Avalon from their Charleston store. So this review speaks to the service department I have been extremely pleased with their work and their commitment to customer satisfaction they have gone above and beyond in certain situations extremely satisfied with the service department. As we live in Columbia and get the vehicle serviced there. Owned the vehicle for about a year and a half.

The entire experience was great! Our salesman, Bucky Birt, was perfect from the moment he approached us to the time we were leaving in our new 4Runner. The management team and Paul, the finance manager, were absolutely great to do business with. Will definitely be returning as a customer and definitely recommend this dealership and these guys to people I know looking for a vehicle. Thank you all for a great experience!

Great place to shop. Honest dealership. Disparity between discount given by online salesman and dealership honoring that discount.
Recommend Brian Davis and wonderful caring individual who has a servant's heart. Good experience in being presented with the car I purchased, cleaned and ready to go.

I had never been to Fred Anderson before. From the minute I walked in, I was impressed. I was met at the door by my salesman, Kodi, and done so in a very non-threatening way. The whole process was comfortable with no pressure. We landed on the car that I wanted and agreed on a price I felt was fair. I joked about going into the finance department and meeting the wizard behind the curtain who would ruin the whole experience. Again surprised. This was a great automobile buying experience from the front door to driving the car off the lot. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The A/C in my wife's car suddenly started blowing hot and she smelled something funny. I called the service manager and asked him to look at her car. I only wanted the A/C looked at. Next thing I know they replaced her rear breaks and rotors!!! Oh, and filled her car with freon telling her the breaks were bad but they could not find a freon leak. Oh, and an oil change.!!! They wanted to charge her over $700!!!! As I had just had my wife's breaks looked at and replaced her front breaks at another dealership, I called and questioned what they did and the service advisor was extremely rude. I had to take time off work and go in person to argue with them over this "Up selling". After arguing with them the bill mysteriously dropped to $200. We picked up my wife's car and the very next day it was blowing hot again. I called again and was told it was the evaporator and her entire dash would have to come out. I was quoted 15 hours of labor and told her bill was going to be over $2,400!!!! I checked with several dealerships and was told I was being ripped off as the labor time was only 8 hours not 15!!!! Again, Fred Anderson was trying to cheat us out of money. As they had already filled my wife's car with freon, I called Fred Anderson again and had several text messages with their service department. Once again, the hours dropped to 6.5 hours. I finally agreed to allow Fred Anderson to replace the evaporator on my wife's car. After my arguments and proof they were overcharging me, the final bill was under $900. Once we got the car home my wife noticed several broken pieces and gouges on her dash and scratches on both front door panels. We are now pursuing Fred Anderson for damages to my wife's car. Everyone BEWARE of Fred Anderson's Service Department at their Columbia location. They will try to rip you off and tell you things need to be fixed when they do not and when they actually do fix things they will over charge you for the repairs. There is no excuse for attempting to charge 15 labor hours for something all the books in all the other dealerships say takes only 8 hours to do. That is gouging and simply criminal in nature. The Better Business Bureau needs to investigate them. Furthermore, they break things when they get caught in their lies and deception. I will never take my car to Fred Anderson again, nor would I trust them to deal fairly while selling a car. BEWARE EVERYONE.

Peter, Scott, and Leo Luna worked with us to make sure I got the car I wanted (transferred the exact one). They accommodated test drive needs so that we could ensure the 4runner fit our family needs. There was NO pressure from Peter. He was there to answer questions via text, and was a very patient with my wavering considerations of features. The deal was great AND I have a FREE service package for life at Fred Anderson!

I worked with Ethan and Johnny as they came highly recommended from a friend who had worked with them recently. I was given ONE offer for a 2017 4Runner TRD Off-road, and I accepted it without hesitation - it was THAT good. I took the car for a test drive, and Johnny took the time to show me the car's features, pointing out how it stood out from the other trim levels. Overall, both Ethan and Johnny made the process super easy for me. I highly recommend them.

We had a horrible experience trying to purchase a vehicle. When we got there to look, we walked around for 30 minutes and no one even came to help us. Some sales people on the golf cart drove up to us, must not like what they saw because they literally turned around without even saying hi. we figured we'd look at everything first and eventually went to track someone down to see if we could test drive a Toyota Highlander. Our salesperson was not enthused and didn't seem very confidant which was fine with us. But once we started going over trade values and getting numbers the manager Louis was not professional and was trying to pressure us into a quick sale , not being honest with us and made me very uncomfortable. Also, we were there a total of 5 hours and not once did they offer us a water bottle, again.. not a big deal, but it's the south and it was hot. By the time we left, I was dehydrated and had a headache. Also, when we walked into the dealership, I stubbed my toe on the big sign right by the door . I was bleeding and it obviously hurt, they didn't even ask me if I was okay or direct me to the bathroom to clean it up. All around not a good experience, we have no desire to go back ever . We ended up getting our highlander from Scott will Toyota in Sumter and it was by far the best decision we made!! That is true customer service there , greeted with a smile and just a totally different environment ! Not only did Fred Anderson miss out on our highlander sale, they missed out on our tundra sale in a couple years !

This was my first time car buying experience. I could not have been more pleased with the amount of Customer Service and help I received from David B. He was incredibly nice and patient with me and consistently ensured that I was doing well while out in the lobby waiting for the financing department, which seems like it took hours. Then Paul A was very thorough going over all of the financial information with me and made sure I understood all of the paperwork. Everyone was incredibly nice and made my first time car buying experience phenomenal! I purchased a vehicle I love and had a great experience while doing so!

Great experience at Fred Anderson. Our salesman, Bucky Birt, was very genuine and non pressuring. He clearly wanted us to make the best decision to fit our needs. They were very reasonable in their price and comparable to others I had talked with. If you stop by, ask for Bucky and you will get the straightforward experience most people look for when buying a vehicle.
