We couldn't Park in the normal parking spot so we had to park across the street and it really wasn't bad it made sure there was parking

Easy hike, best lake view in NH. Much better and far less crowded than Mt. Major.

Old Bridal Trail is a great family hike that leads to West Rattlesnake Mt. There is a great view of Lake Squam at the top.

Hike is 1.8 miles total in and out with 400 feet of elevation gain. Our 4 year old had no problems, our 2 year old was able to walk about half of the trip (mostly down hill). My wife was 6 month pregnant and also had no problems.

Bring bug spray and shoes that can get muddy for the first half. Parking lot and trail are heavily used. Plan to come earlier in the day to avoid the crowds.
