Diane from the behavioral science department left me a voicemail in a very rude tone after I called her department trying to schedule an appointment. The receptionist located in the cardiologist department gave me the behavioral departments number to reach a certain doctor. Franciscan Health needs to get it together. Know which building your doctors are practicing out of.
Staff can be very rude and unprofessional. I called the medical records dept so that the test results and labs can be faxed to the cardiologist so I can be released back to work. The cardiologist's office tried faxing the hospital (numerous times) to get the records and the fax machine response was: no response. The lady in medical records was very rude and unprofessional. When trying to be released from the hospital the staff drag their feet on trying to get a patient discharged. It took over 2 hours before I finally got discharged. Think I would have rather had a heart attack than to have dealt with the hospital staff.
4 hours+ waiting in the ER Staff says they are full in the back, but I've only seen 3 people go back, not including dozens of visitors. It would have been faster for me to Drive back up to Mi and go to the ER there.
I could understand an hour or two wait, but 4+ hours is ridiculous. By the time I was seen, my issue was no longer a concern
For anyone that is having a mental health issue, that is causing them severe physical distress or pain you're better off calling a hotline.
Treated my daughter awesome!! We went to ER and everyone was attentive to her needs!! Nurses were excellent and physicians!! Thank u Oly for all your help!!
Visited 8/21/17. Waited over 3-5hours in the back for treatment. No tests or labs performed. Offered my 17 year old daughter Norco with no reports of pain. Then asked about a non existent pregnancy. Nurse was rude and lacked empathy until I asked her to leave. Doctor ordered blood work and exam of the area and the nurse purposely didnt do it and made us wait longer because I excused her. Left to find another emergency room after waiting almost a work day.
I found the doctors, nurses and respiratory therapist to be great! They were all very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. I can't thank them enough the care I received at the hospital.
I, have great DOCTORS AT TIME. AS WELL AS THE BEAUTIFUL STAFF. EVEN THE TIMES THAT I, WAS HOSPITALIZED NO PROBLEMS OCCURREDIN MY OPINION MANY PEOPLE EXPECT, DR'S AND NURSES TO BE MIRACLE WORKERS..AND MANY TIMES PEOPLE HAVE CAUSED THEIR OWN ILLNESS.
Went in with bleeding and sever abdominal pain. I couldn't take it any longer. Could not keep food or water down for the past 4 days. Seemed to be getting worse. When I walked in I asked if there was a long wait. I have an good health plan and could go elsewhere. Was told no, should be soon. Wrong! 2 1/2 hours later I finally walked out! Why is this place called ER? Never again,. If I took in a sick dyning animal and was desperate for treatment I would never go there again.
It will never matter how they try to fix this place up with new construction if the needed care is not there. It will still be a useless pretty facade with no substance as an ER.
I noted 2-3 others who walked in before me and finally left. I wonder how they are doing. Hope they received the care they need. Bless them.
I've been waiting in the ER with no word of anything for 4 hours. When I ask I'm treated as an annoyance and like I should feel bad for being sick and needing to be here. I'll be leaving here shortly. So irritated.
Terrible i repeat terrible staff they do not have your best intrests at heart all they care about is their bottom line they told my wife nothing but Iies they misdiagnosed my son and gave him heart medicine when in fact he had a simple nose bleed the staff are truly pathetic i mean come on now who gives a child heart meds for a nose bleed WORST HOSPITAL i wouldn't send my worst enemy there good grief stay far far away from this place
This hospital needs a better staff for the E.R., my family member was having an asthma attack and the nurse was rude and LEFT the room UNBELIEVABLE! How can you not have any inhalers really?! I calmned my family member down. After we fixed the problem ourselves we demanded our discharge papers. Staff needs major training in humanity and compassion or have Northwestern E.R. staff train them. They are the best in my book. You guys one of worst and that is an understatement.
I was treated by resident Ryan Wagner in the E.R. along with multiple nurses and the supervising Doctor. I had a deep cut in my foot from a chainsaw so it wasn't a simple fix. The entire staff did a great job at cleaning and stitching it up and making sure I was comfortable and not in pain.
Absolutely terrible!!!! Walked in and I was the only one waiting to be seen. Watches 5 other walk in after me and they were taken back after a very short wait. Nurse finally seen me still seated and told me they should be almost done cleaning a room for me. She goes ahead and takes me back to a room that the sheet was dirty there was blood on the wall. And there I sat for almost an hour and never seen anyone. Definitely will never go back to this place again!!! Very very dirty!!!
