One of my favorite BBQ places in Atlanta! I've been 3 times so far, and have been impressed every single time. The brisket and pork are fantastic. Super tender with a great smoky taste. The sides are also wonderful. You think you'd have to go outside of the city to find some authentic southern bbq, but Fox Bros has hit the nail on the head every time I've been.
The only issue I've run into is the parking situation, as the lot it sits on is rather small. Other than that though, everything is great!
I’ve never really been a fan of BBQ but this place is above and beyond. Our server which I forgot her name was very attentive and told us all the specials of the day, but we ended up getting the BC Plate. Let me tell you, the meats were oh so wonderful, tender and juicy while the meat just falls off the bones on the ribs. If you’ve never been then I advise you to try it now!
We only waited about a half hour to be seated, and from what I've been told, that is good. Had all intentions of having a pulled pork dinner, however, when the waitress came to take our order, she said, "BTW, we are out of ribs and pulled pork." She should have given us that information when we got the menu or when she took our drink order. With that being said, I changed my order to the brisket, and it was absolutely delicious and I'm even glad that I got to try something that I wouldn't have. Being November, although it wasn't terribly cold out, we decided to eat indoors. It was probably just as cold indoors as it was outdoors with the heaters going. Service was good. Food delicious. Worth going back to.
I love this place. Anybody who knows me, knows I love this place. I've been going for the past eight or so years and will continue to go. The only thing bad I can say about this place is that over the years they've drastically going up on their prices. I guess that's partially not their fault completely, as the cost of beef has gone up over the years. And I guess if people are willing to pay the price, like they do, then why not? I give them 5 stars the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the restaurants cleanliness deserve each and every one of them. Do yourself a favor and check them out if you're in the area. Heck, even if you're not, they are definitely worth the drive
When it comes to BBQ Restaurants I'd kinda given up on finding one doing it right. That was until I went to Fox Brothers. This is as close as you'll get to smoking meat yourself at home in the Atlanta area. I was pleasantly surprised that these fellas are serving some really great Que! Sides are great too!
You won't be disappointed. Staff is nice and friendly, just be prepared for a small wait because they are busy. But it's worth it! Enjoy!
Doesn't mater what you're doing in Atlanta, this is a MUST try. Don't expect a fancy establishment, this place is as real as it gets. The comfort is in the food!
Parking is a little limited and you're most likely gonna have a wait when you get there but this was a definite highlight of my trip to Georgia. From their jalapeño corn bread down to their brisket it was a home run.
Prices aren't too bad either, I shared the 3 meat platter with my cousin and can confirm even after splitting everything, I was stuffed beyond belief! I don't know what kinda sorcery they use in their cooking but it works and it works well.
They deserve every positive review they get! Their staff is friendly and inviting, service is fast and food is true southern deliciousness!
This was my first time visiting here and I loved it. My server was great and informative. The food was great and there was alot to eat. I couldn't even finish. Great place to be fat and enjoy yourself. Ill definitely be back.
Arguably the best BBQ in ATL, Fox Brothers has yet to disappoint. The classic combo plate is always more than enough and always leaves me enjoying life. The half ribs, half brisket is my preferred choice. The ribs are unbeatable. I'm a fan of the brisket so I can't commit to just one. The spicy green beans are in a class of their own. I highly recommend. The fried green beans were a unique twist. They were whole okra lightly battered and fried. Good but nothing special. We also ordered the beef short rib which we affectionately refer as the brontosaurus leg because it literally takes up the entire plate. Order if only extremely hungry and want to feel like a cave man.
This place is so good my friend said it converted his vegetarian girlfriend into an omnivore.
Amazing. Ribs are fall off the bone, dry-rubbed, heavenly bliss. Brisket is perfectly flavored and soft and tender. Pulled pork has great flavor but does require a little sauce to push it to the 5 star. Sauces are amazing. Jalapeno cornbread is the softest cornbread ever, not that sweet, perfect balance.
Bottom line: best ribs I have ever had, tied for best brisket, amazing pork, best cornbread I have ever had, fantastic. Must go. Don't go anywhere else for bbq.
Take-out was quicker than waiting in line to dine there. Despite being visitors to Atlanta and visiting Fox Bros for the first time, we opted for take/carry out which took 20 minutes, compared to our dine in wait time of 1.5 hours! We were there mainly for the food, so that was more important for my group anyways. I must say, the food is top notch. We ordered the ribs, spare ribs, and wings. They are SO GOOD! Banana pudding is also a must-have! Taking the food elsewhere to eat had no affect on the food's deliciousness at all. It's THAT good.
Checked this place out on a recommendation from a friend, and completely made the trip! The food was excellent and came out super fast. Atmosphere was kind of loud, but totally what you expect with a bustling down-home barbecue joint. I will definitely be returning the next time (and probably every time) I'm in Atlanta.
Definitely lives up to the hype. Large portion sizes make it well worth the price. Pork Belly appetizer was amazing, I had the Fox Bros Burger (Brisket covered with pimento cheese and topped with bacon)WOW!!! The Mrs had chicken and rib combo and we both had the fresh cut fries. I highly recommend riding MARTA in to Inman Park station and walking. You will be glad you did after you eat!
Without question, the best BBQ in Atlanta. Best meats: ribs, sliced brisket & WINGS WINGS WINGS! Best sides: Brunswick stew, baked beans & collard greens. Awesome atmosphere, outdoor seating (usually a wait, minimum 30 minutes during busy times) & friendly staff.
I need not say moreGET HERE & COME HUNGRY!
I loved this place because for one I didn't have one complaint about anything on my plate. My ribs were cooked perfectly the brisket was amazing the pulled pick was good also. Mac and cheese was superb could order that by itself and collard greens was good. The smoked wings were excellent and I really enjoyed the vibe at the restaurant. I really would recommend anyone who hasn't tried it to try it! It does get packed though even on weekdays.
Great Texas Style BBQ
I had the combo with ribs and brisket, sliced lean. The ribs were awesome - pull off the bone tender and nice smoky flavor with a great dry rub on the outside. The brisket had a great flavor, but it could have been a little bit juicier. It was right on the edge of dry. My husband had the chicken with his combo and said it was flavorful, but there were a few spots he questioned if it was cooked enough and avoided. The Mac and cheese was delicious, as were the baked beans my hubby had. The greens are good but different. They have a slightly sweetened but vinegary taste to them, and the potato salad is vinegary as well, so keep that in mind when ordering. If you're like me and like mixing your baked beans and potato salad, it makes for a nice sweet/tart component. This place stays packed, so parking can be a challenge. Docking one star for that, as well as the cons mentioned. Overall, I would recommend giving it a try. We'll definitely be back.
