I am so happy to be leaving this community, we've had nothing but problems with the new management this last year. The office staff always had an attitude and gave you grief when asking questions.
They didn’t make people abide by their rules. We had a restricted dog breed attack another community members dog and nothing major was done. The dogs owner was still allowed to live here with the restricted dog.
You have to jump through hoops to get anything fixed and when they actually come to fix things it's a cheap fix that won't last. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors talk and flush their toilet.
Our home had significant flooding in it from a leak that we called multiple times about. I feel terrible for the people moving in because the mold issue is bad and all they did was paint over it. The padding under the carpet in molding too.
When emergency maintenance was called because our front door wouldn't lock at 8:00PM one night and we were told sorry that's not an emergency deal with it.
There were multiple cars broken into while we lived here. Things would get stolen from your porch.
To top it all off when they asked us if we wanted to renew our lease another year we were informed it was going to be an extra $250 a month. So they're charging more but not doing anything to improve the living conditions.
All around this community was horrible. I never felt safe. It's consistently gone down hill since the new management came in. They're in it for the money and really don't care about their community members. I wouldn't even recommended this place to my worse enemy.

Nice groundsclean, but tight close units. This is an older community.

I lived in Fords Pointe for a little over a year with my husband and I cannot express how happy I am to be able to leave early due to my husband pcsing. The walls are very thin, and due to that you can hear everything to even your neighbors toilet flushing and they will complain. So if you like sports like me and my husband, expect noise complaints and a threat to get thrown out or watch your game without excitement and be extremely quiet at all times. (We were in the Super Bowl, kind of hard to do) They told us that they gave us notices to warn us 5 times prior before threatening to kick us out and we only received one. Also, there was some complications where our power and only our power cut out, and our bills were all paid so it was not that, so my father in law called trying to help us get our power back and figure out what was going on, and they did not know it was family and went on bad mouthing us to him. Not a good look to bad mouth the ones who give you business. Any time there was a issue where the front desk needed to be contacted, there was always a attitude given and absolutely not professional at all. And maintenance is always a hit or miss, whenever they feel like they want to do their job. I would recommend for people to look elsewhere because living here was just a headache and a nightmare!

Awful experience, so glad we are not moving here. Was assured by employees our security deposit would be refunded and was not, even when it was taken out without our permission or knowledge. Bank robbers.

Update: after a lot of conversations with the property owner we finally getting our security deposit back. Make sure you keep your conversations.

Ive enjoyed my stay here under the old management. I will be vacating the premises at the end of my lease due to the lack of courtesy and unprofessional practices of new management. Document every conversation, keep all paperwork, and be on your toes with them.

I highly recommend these apartments. I have lived here for over two years.

    PROS:
    - Great place for soldiers that want to live off post and do not want to be close to post. It's 25 mins from Hunter and 45 mins from Ft. Stewart.

-Great features like black appliances including a microwave and great closet space.

-You can get to most locations in 20 mins or less. Several nearby grocery stores and shops.

-Very close to 95 to go downtown or to go to Jacksonville.

-Maintenance are quick to come out even during off hours.

    -Pet friendly

    -Very friendly and helpful staff

    -Nice areas nearby for walking/running

-Free vacuum and car wash area

-You can apply online and pay rent online. There is a fee when paying online but it is convenient if you are not able to come to the office.

    -Great churches in the area.

-Very close to Richmond Hill which is awesome. They have a lot of cool events at J.F. Gregory Park and it is a great place to walk/run.

    CONS:
-The trash gets piled up sometimes near the compactor

-The 2 bedroom doesn't have a pantry like the 1 bedroom.

-Depending on which side you live in the complex, the parking can get crowded.

-The humidity is can get bad here so you have to watch for mold. I called maintenance twice the whole time I have been here about it. They came by and got rid of it with a spray solution. I keep an eye on areas like the windows and the bathroom where moisture can sit.

-In the 1 bedroom apartment you hear a lot of noise especially if you in the bottom apartment.

I have lived here for the last 4 months. I originally thought that I would worry about noise and privacy since I am located right beside the pet park. I must say that I was mistaken. The noise level is livable, privacy is great. It is nice being able to park in front of your door. The management staff is awesome, I love their involvement and caring nature for their tenants. The maintenance staff is quick and efficient. The only drawback is the actual apartments themselves. Bedrooms and living space is great. Kitchen although slightly updated, (usb ports for charging,) the stoves are basic, and counter/cabinet space is non existent. Pantry is small above the water heater and awkward. The items are difficult to reach once placed inside. So if you don't like to cook or have few kitchen gadgets it is a dream, but from a person who does like to cook it is awkward. If you have small children the carpets are difficult, with my two year old I am always cleaning spots. Hardwood or laminate throughout would be a great incentive. The master bathroom is way smaller than the guest bath but I will say that this is only my layout the townhouses and other apartments may be different depending on location. The closets are huge in the guest room but slightly smaller in master. These are my only complaints. This is working for my family of three at this time. That is the only reason for my 4 otherwise it would be 5 stars.

The staff and accommodations at Fords Pointe Apartments is exceptional. Professionalism and patience from the staff makes the difficulties and complications of army deployments seem easy. If you think you will deploy often or have a difficult schedule, nothing is more comforting than having a team like the one at this business. I want to give a special thanks to Candy, David, and Caitlyn, so appreciative of doing business with you.

My friend and I decided on a townhome because they are perfect for a pair of single bachelors. The living conditions are ideal with new carpeting, new appliances, and two bedrooms, three baths, and a large kitchen and living area.

The location is perfect because you are right outside of Savannah and only 25-30 minutes away from FT Stewart (depending on the traffic). Ideal for uber rides from downtown and for work.

We were worried when we realized we had to move out early due to our deployment schedule, but again the staff made the transition smooth and as stress free as possible.

Will recommend to friends and coworkers in the future,

    Thank you

    Pete
