Food was not good and the service was just as bad. The music is blaring, way too loud! The chili and Mac tatchos barely had any chili or Mac and cheese. I expected the tots to be covered in chili and Mac and cheese there was less than 1/4 of a cup on top of 500 tots! I won't be back! The positive was the valet, he was very nice and cordial, he got a tip.

Food was amazing! I went with my boyfriend and ordered the redneck totchos and a black bean burger and I believe he ordered one of their stuffed cheeseburgers. Food was not disappointing! I also have to mention Keisha, she gave us great service. Couldn't help but feel comfortable. Definitely recommend

It’s a nice place with friendly service in close proximity to Piedmont park. There is an outdoor patio available on a good day and they have good food and decent pricing. The drinks are pretty good too.

Pricey but amazing place. Had a first date here and the ambiance was perfect. Drinks are good, food was okay but not exactly worth what I spent. I would recommend.

This is a great bar. It has great food and great staff. They take care of good customers. They do however still employ one female blonde manager who is an absolute bi*ch. There is no explanation for why she is still employed there. Spent 8 hours here one football Saturday and an otherwise great day was ruined in 5 minutes by her. Wish I had gotten her name so I could properly alert the staff, but every single server came over to me to apologize for her behavior. Simply unacceptable. You cannot be in the service industry and talk to people the way she does. I used to frequent the Nook a lot. Questionable whether I will go back until this rogue "manager" is taken care of. Feel very bad for servers who have to work under her and have their tips affected by her very negative attitude and hostile approach to customers. Otherwise, great bar - please frequent - but if you have this particular manager approach, politely ask for your check and walk away.

*Review edit: her name is Jen. If you can avoid her, go to the Nook, otherwise, AVOID*

We stopped at The Nook during Music Midtown. Despite being absolutely swamped the waitstaff was super friendly and attentive.

Even though it was a short menu (who can blame them during the festival) food options were good and tasty.

This has really good drinks. The staff is super friendly and the food is spot on. I live the roasted wings and tater tots.

The food here is pretty good. The Totchos are a must, but they can be a bit greasy since they are tater tots but they make a great appetizer to share! All of their other food is really good as well and I absolutely love their brunch.

I came here last night and I had the best server! His name was Turner. He was so great and he was pretty cute too! The food was amazing and I love the atmosphere! I highly recommend this place!

My local pub when I lived down the street. The bartenders are awesome, super friendly and never forget a face. The patio is packed, I repeat, packed, it is a very popular place to visit when at Piedmont Park and it can be a bit loud. Great for brunch or grabbing drinks any day of the week. Not much for parking so expect to park elsewhere and walk in. Grab a fishbowl to start a good story

TLDR; I'd stick to drinks here! The patio is lovely and the music + fishbowls are fun

Visited on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. We sat on the patio because the weather was perfect and the place wasn't very busy. Our server was really nice, but she kind of missed the essentials like silverware and refills. And the temperature of the food was just wayyyy off for me. I received a warm smoked chicken salad sandwich and cold sweet potato fries. My boyfriend got a soggy toasted club sandwich with cold fries. So this visit was a miss for us considering it wasn't very busy. But for redemption, I've been previously for drinks only on a Friday night and it was great! Try their fishbowls

Great atmosphere and music!! Lots of good beers and other drinks to choose from. I got the black bean burger and a side of tots, and it was good but the black bean burger wasn't very firm which is my only complaint. Love this place and would definitely come back if I was visiting again!

She walked In and the music stopped but only outside. My eggs were cold, the toast came out dry. The mess they call French toast is toaster bread with peanut butter smeared on it, I assume it never hit the pan. The waitress could see we hated our food because we didn't eat 4 plates. I asked for butter and syrup, I got 0.5 pat of butter in a soufflé cup. The same issue for syrup a ketchup container that was not suitable to accommodate syrup. You're not fancy you don't have to hide the bottle unless it's the tang trying to pass off as orange juice! Yes we caught that.

Great staff, it was busy on playoff weekend but our waiter was attentive, I never had to wait on drink and food orders. They make a great mule, the smoked wings are amazing. Pay this place a visit if you are looking to unwind, eat good, and drink to your hearts content. If you come with a group, order a fishbowl and drink an ocean of alcohol.
