Great cafe - tons of space and free wifi. I use Verizon and get zero signal inside but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about the place. Staff is friendly and food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced.

Decent custard. A little on the airy side. Nice selection of Christopher Elbow chocolates.

Had my first latte here (Made by Allie, she's cool) and it was pretty alright. Comfy setting and dang decent art on the walls. I'd come back for sure.

My aunt brought me to this place and I loved it!! Food was great. The atmosphere is very cozy and they have beautiful art on display. They have even brought in artwork from kids at local schools. The staff was super friendly and I was in and out in plenty of time for lunch on a workday.

Custard and coffee were great! They incorporate a lot of great things native to Kansas City, and the owner was friendly enough to come chat with us before we left!

Great local spot with excellent food. The banh mi is worth a trip and the roasted red pepper soup is delicious. Also appropriate for business coffee, especially if you prefer to support local small business.

Great place for coffee or a fun event! We recently visited Foo's for a children's birthday party held in the back area. It was a great space with plenty of room (it fit ~15 adults and a bunch of children). The staff was very nice, and we even had a great discussion with the owner. We will definitely be back soon! I would rate Foo's 5 stars, but there are a couple of other places in the metro I would consider first when grabbing a cup of coffee (this is based on my preference for a couple of other coffee bean brands).

My wife and I have heard great things about this place and so we stopped in to try it. We were greeted well and the girl was very nice at helping us figure out what we wanted. I ordered two small scoops for my two little ones and two concretes for my wife and I. The girl made my two little ones ice cream so they got to enjoy theirs. However, the cashiers dad showed up with their dog and all 3 young teenage girl employees ran outside and hung out with the dog feeding it custard for 10 minutes. I went and stood by the counter hoping one would come in after awhile. Finally, one noticed me and she came in and asked what I needed. I told her I'd like the custard I ordered and she never apologized and so I just requested a refund and left. Won't ever know what it tastes like and won't be back. Businesses that hire teenagers who don't care about their job is how companies lose out on business. I will even post a picture showing the employees outside worrying about a dog instead of an actual customer.
