My boss treated for lunch. I can't find anything bad to say about this place. The food is amazing, and so is the service. It is a lil difficult parking there though.

You'll always have a very good meal at Hoffstotts. Their marinara is amazing. Check out the daily specials before ordering. I could eat their dinner salad every day. And dessert, Oh my, my favorite is Cheesecake they get shipped in from Juniors in NYC. You will not be disappointed.

Nothing spectacular considering the prices. Also they don't do separate checks for large parties and kind of made a big deal about it when I asked. Friendly otherwise and nice atmosphere.

This place has been a staple in Oakmont forever. The staff is great and super knowledgeable and the food is fantastic! Perfect for a more upscale local dinner.

Great food bad service our waitress was rude and very pushy. After 5 minutes getting our food she asked us 17 times if she could take our plates. We where only there 20 minutes we wanted to order dessert but she pushed us out the door. She said she was studying to be a Biological Eng. and this is just some thing she does to get by. The service used to be great but now its the worst I have ever had. I will not go back.

Our party was 3 generations including the baby. Lots of dietary restrictions. They managed it all professionally with charming service and the food was great.

We hadn't been here for a good while, but wifey heard about the specials being offered between 4 and 6, so we made the trip out to Oakmont. Maybe it's my maturing taste, but I really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the meal. The decor reminds me of someplace out of old Hollywood or Las Vegas, like you would expect to see a couple of members of the Rat Pack (Google it millennials) having drinks in the corner booth. Our waiter David was top notch, attentive to our needs, and informative about the menu. The meals were delicious, and at $12 each a darn good deal. These were not just lower grade 'special' meals, but quality, top grade offerings that included bread and salad. Add an app (we highly recommend the battered zucchini - so good) and if you have room, one of the tempting desserts, and you'll roll out onto the avenue full and happy. Glad we have rediscovered Hoffstots! We will be back!

Went there for my birthday dinner hoping for a lovely dining experience. Unfortunately, my night was disappointing. Won't be coming back. Unpolished silverware placed right on the table, sloppy basket of stale bread paired with dip that tasted like fish fat, severely undercooked filet mignon, unappetizing sides, pieces of cork floating in a $10 worth glass of red. Waitress came across as pushy, very assertively placed a plate of salad in front of me that actually was meant for my date. According to the menu I was supposed to get two vegetables - got a bunch of green beans and several lettuce leaves. Having brought out the food, the waitress did not come back to check on us. By the time she finally passed by the table and paid attention that I hadn't touched my steak, I was not in the mood for staying there any longer.

One of our favorite spaces to visit for lunch in Oakmont, PA. The food is always fresh and tasty. Great customer service and prices. Charming and friendly local place.

We used Hoffstots for our wedding caterer! Chef Brian was great and so helpful. He met with us three times prior to the wedding, I know how busy chefs are (my husband is a chef) and he made the time to meet with us each time. We had action stations- pasta and meat/veg. People are still talking about how awesome the food was and how many options they got to choose from. I saw him a few times at the wedding. Busy and keeping everything in order. It was perfect. Absolutely fabulous menu. Fresh and well prepared. Selection is varied, atmosphere is comfortable. Occasional wait staff issues but mostly just inexperienced, does not detract from food and beverage selection and enjoyment.
